Built for abuse.

Deep in the heart of Germany, a pump was created. It was said to be the One Pump to rule them all, the One Pump to find them, the One Pump to bring them all and in inflation bind them. The chosen one spoken of from on high is the Lezyne Sport Drive Floor Pump. With precision quality and durable design, the Sport Drive will possess your friends with dangerous envy -- we recommend locking your garage or making friends with powerful wizards.

The Lezyne Sport Drive Floor Pump's beautiful varnished wood handle has all of the charm and charisma of the old steel Silca pumps, but don't think for a minute that the Sport Drive floor pump operates like an antique. With a Composite Matrix base, steel barrel, and a steel piston, the Sport Floor Drive proves it's rooted in the modern age.

The Sport Drive floor pump features a 2.5-inch diameter dial that reads up to 160psi. It uses 43-inch rubber hose with a flip-thread chuck for both Schrader and Presta valves. The valve head includes Lezyne's Air Bleed System for accurate air regulation. The Sport Drive floor pump also includes a Presta-only Speed Chuck; this valve head has a 90-degree bend that it makes it the valve head of choice for precariously positioned valve stems -- like those found on disc wheels, tri-spokes, and deep dish aero wheels.

The Lezyne Sport Drive Floor Pump is available in one size and in the colors Black, Red, Yellow, and Silver.

Always Expect Quality from Lezyne

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great floor pump. I'm a big fan of Lezyne products: I carry the Road Drive mini pump on rides and have just about all of their tools. The combination between form and function is what always draws me to this brand. This pump specifically has a thread-on connector, which takes a little bit longer than a typical lever-locking connector, but I always feel better about the connection at the valve with this screw-on connector. Plus, it doesn't feel like it's torquing the valve sideways the way that most lever-locking pumps do. The gauge is fairly easy to read, but it is on the floor, so if if you're pumping in a not-so-well-lit area, you may not be able to read the numbers exactly, but you'll soon learn exactly where 120psi is and you'll be fine. (Maybe I just have bad eyes.) I've used pumps that tell you what psi is in the tire right when you connect the hose to the valve, but this pump does not do that. I don't think it's a huge draw-back because I always bleed a little air out of the tires before pumping up anyway, so the initial psi reading wouldn't be any more helpful then the reading after the first pump. The gauge is accurate and there is no needle float at all. The wooden handles are nice and secure, and they feel good in the hands. It takes me no time at all to make sure both my tires are at 120 before each ride - remember to bleed the hose before unscrewing. The hose secures by looping around the top handle and locks into a hook at the base of the unit. This secures the handle down and keeps everything tidy, though it does put some stretch onto the hose, which so far hasn't been an issue whatsoever. Buy with confidence.

Quality Pump at a Friendly Price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

All the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail from pump king Lezyne at a far milder price point. Easy to use with a secure thread on valve and gets up to 120psi+ in relative ease. Remember to let the air bleed, and be careful when unscrewing the valve as it can take your valve core with it if you're not paying attention.

Excellent pump

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I really like this pump. It has a solid construction and is really easy to use. I myself am a noob when it comes to presta valves but since the nozzle has threads and can easily be screwed to fit the presta valve I have no trouble at all when pumping my tires up. The gauge is easy to read and very accurate. This pump has a pretty long hose which calculates into the ease of use that I find fits my needs very well. Also the air bleed mechanism in the nozzle is great for when you over pump the tire (which i tend to do). Its also nice that now I can also pump up my football and basketball with the additional needle that was provided.

Great Pump

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This a great pump for any cyclist to have in their garage. Quickly and efficiently inflates both mountain and road tires with an accurate pressure reading.

Good pump

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

All around good pump. Solid construction and fits my presta valve well. I was able to pump my tires up to 90 psi without any issues. The bleed system made removing the valve easy.

It pumps *clap* you up.

What can you really say about a bike pump? Perhaps you have some questions I could answer.

You might wonder, does it pump air?
Why yes it does, and quite well in fact. It even sports a pressure gauge so you know how much air you've pumped.

Is it easy to connect to the valve?
Incredibly so. That threaded chuck works a charm and ensures a tight seal while airing up. The built in pressure bleeder is a great addition as well.

Can I run it over with my car?
Probably not. While the build is by no means to be considered cheap, it isn't the burliest pump money can buy. Treat it well and it will keep the tires on favorite whip happy for years to come.

Sweet and simple

This is a good basic floor pump. Easy to use. Looks good in the dining room next to my bikes and dining room table.
I appreciate the screw on nozzle valve and the pressure bleeder
If you are looking for a basic at home pump this is a great choice. I can take it with me on trips, but it isn't ideally small or easy to break down if I were taking it on a comp/race.

Great pump

Got my pump and was a little skeptic when it was time for some air. Right after I pushed it on and got that connection their was little more to do. Got it up to 120psi in no time and little effort was needed. Pulling off the make sure to release air first. Great pump.

Great pump

I change my bike to a road bike, my old pump just could not handle to pump up to 100 psi. I read reviews about this pump and thought I give it a try since I have bought a head light by this company and it was terrific. Once I got this pump and tried it I was hooked. You certainly have to watch the gauge. It pumps up to 110 psi in about 3-4 easy pumps. I see as by other reviewers that you can blow your tube with this pump. Love the valve head. So much easier to attached to my presto valve. I have also bought the smaller one to carry on my bike. Have not used it yet, but except it to work as well.

Has My Husband's Approval

First of all, I received this quickly, which was good after my husband accidentally let the air our of my front tire trying to pump it up with his air compressor last week. When the pump arrived yesterday, he declared it to be well-made, and he quickly figured out which chuck I needed and how to switch to the correct chuck. He showed me how to use it, and I think I can remember. Use requires some strength, but it only takes a few pumps to completely fill the tire. I was back on the road this morning!
