Lezyne Chain Drive - Chain Breaker Tool $16.95
A chain breaker is one of those tools that you just kind of take for granted. You can get away with an attachment on a multi-tool, but once you've used a precise, shop-quality chain breaker you won't want to go back. A well-designed, comfortable chain tool like the Lezyne Chain Drive can make all the difference between a smooth, well-executed adjustment and a drawn-out frustrating mess. After all, those multi-tool attachments were made to be used during your ride as a last-ditch, ride-or-walk quick fix. Precise adjustments should be left to a shop-quality instrument.
The Lezyne Chain Drive Tool is tough. The forged steel body is CNC-machined to tight tolerances for accuracy. The body is contoured to feel comfortable in your hands. Lezyne even integrated two Mavic splined and two square spoke wrenches into the body for a little extra versatility. The breaker pin can be replaced in the unlikely event of a break, and Lezyne even had the foresight to include a spare just in case.
The Lezyne Chain Drive Tool is compatible with nine or ten speed chains and can be used for adjustment of wheels equipped with Mavic splined or standard square spoke nipples.
What community has to say
Nice little chain tool to toss in the pack, but plenty to do the job at home as well. I bought it to use at to break a couple chains to clean them, haven't had to use in on a ride yet thankfully. I Dont even notice it in my pack. Solidly built, straightforward and easy to use, and even includes an extra breaker pin should you ever need it.

Shop quality in a travel sized package
I have yet to be disappointed by a Lezyne product. This chain breaker is no exception. It works well, and offers plenty of leverage despite its size. The pin is replaceable, and it comes with a spare. I especially like the fact that it includes spoke wrenches... so it's technically a multipurpose tool!
Bought this, thinking it would be great to have on rides.
Looked cool, felt nice. But the first time my chain broke
and I tried to use it, I was bummed. It felt awkward, the handle
is not long enough, basically too small to do the job. It can do the
job, but not with ease. Ended up using a friends tool. Added a larger chain tool to my pack.

the little chain break that could
Compact and simple, this deceptively sturdy little chain break is easily burly enough to separate my 1/8in single speed chains. Love Lezyne design, and this piece is absolutely no exception.
