Bottle security and low weight are two of the most important features that we look for in a cage. But, it also needs to be durable enough to handle all of the rigors of the road, day-in and day-out. Lezyne designed its new Carbon Side Pull Water Bottle Cage with these features in mind, making it an ideal cage for your race machine.

The Carbon Side Pull was made of a durable carbon blend, known as FCT, which is used on a variety of Lezyne's products due to its durability and low weight. The cage was designed to accept a wide range of bottle shapes and sizes, and its strong cage ribs, top catch, and bottom bridge work together to increase cage strength and grip.

A pump bracket was integrated into the cage body, and with the included hook-and-loop strap, Lezyne's Road Drive pump is easily secured in place. Additionally, the low-profile design and ovalized mounting holes make this cage compatible with small and large frames alike.

The Lezyne Side Pull Water Bottle Cage is available in one size and in the Carbon colorway.

Really good grip!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Grips bottles really tight, almost too tight. Keeps bottles in on some of the rough railroad crossings around here. Description is slightly wrong, there is no pump bracket integrated into frame and no slot for a hook and loop strap. Photo is not a side pull bottle cage.

A lezyne pump will mount into the groove down either side of the cage and is secured with the hook and loop strap that comes with the pump. This is a common feature on lezyne cages and awesome if you happen to have one of the pumps.

The perfect bottle hugger

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These cages really grab hold of the bottles. I ride a lot of dirt roads, and have no issues with my bottles popping out when others do. I use Camelback waterbottles with them -- you just need to make sure to get the hand groove of the bottle to line up with the top of the bottle cage to have a clean look (otherwise there is a gap at the top of where the water bottle and cage meet). I'm sure there wouldn't be any issue with a standard water bottle like the Purist however.

These look cool too. Real nice accent to the bike.
