The next revolution.

Even for the devoted cyclist who rides outdoors as much as physically possible, there are still those days when the trainer comes into play. From warming up before a race to spinning away while the snow piles up at the front door, we all rely on the spin station from time to time. This is the same for professionals and amateurs alike, and no one knows this better than the man who helped test some of the earliest trainers back in the '80s — arguably spawning many of the designs we've come to know today: Mr. LeMond himself. It's safe to say this three-time Tour winner knows a few things about effective training, which is fully expressed in the new LeMond Revolution 1.1 Trainer. Using a progressive resistance, direct-drive design, the Revolution 1.1 Trainer will have you convinced you're still out there spinning away under blue skies.

Similar to the original Revolution, the 1.1 was made to simulate the most accurate, lifelike road feel through its direct-drive and progressive resistance. What this means is that as you pedal, your energy goes directly into the trainer's large weighted flywheel. This, in turn, creates the high inertia and low mechanical drag that you experience while riding out on the tarmac. Simply attach your bike's rear dropouts into the trainer, and begin your workout. The wide, durable base ensures that you remain stable, even during your hardest efforts. New for the 1.1 is the 11-speed compatible freehub body, as well as the integrated ANT+ module that provides you with your crucial power data.

The LeMond Revolution 1.1 Trainer comes in several 10- and 11-speed-compatible cassette options designed to seamlessly match up with your specific drivetrain. These include: Campagnolo Centaur 11-25t, Campagnolo Chorus 11-25t, Shimano CS-4600 11-25t, Shimano Ultegra 11-25t, SRAM Force 22 11-26t, and SRAM's 11-26t PG1030.
