DBX Pro Lite

Neck braces are designed to prevent over-bending of the head in rearward, forward, side, and axial directions to help prevent serious injury. Leatt's been a true pioneer in development of this essential piece of armor by investing heavily in R&D and pioneering testing methods -- and the DBX Pro Lite is its flagship model.

To reduce hyper extension and flexion of the neck during head impacts, the Pro Lite uses a lightweight carbon shell. The shell permits three-way adjustability -- you can increase or decrease depth, and both the angle and fore/aft position of the thoracic strut can be adjusted. This ensures the Pro Lite is unobtrusive and will function properly.

Adding to that unobtrusiveness is a chassis that allows the greatest range of motion of Leatt's braces. And, the Pro Lite is Leatt's most breathable model with vents added to the front plate and chassis. It also features the new CoreFlex thoracic strut -- the piece that extends down from the brace along the spine.

It's adjustable with color-coded wedges from -5 to 15 degrees for the perfect fit and the strut is designed to break in the event of an impact, so it's replaceable. Leatt's patented Alternative Load Path technology is also applied to the Pro Lite. It disperses energy away from critical areas during impact to reduce injury. Impact absorption is handled by breathable BioFoam padding too. It's replaceable like the CoreFlex thoracic strut if crash damage occurs, and the pads are easily removed and machine washable.

Like all Leatt devices, the Pro Lite uses side mounted paramedical hinges that open easily on both left and right sides. The three way adjustability of Leatt devices allow them to fit most frames, and the wide range of adjustments permit Leatt to produce two sizes -- Small/Medium and Large/XL. To fit a Leatt brace, you measure both your chest diameter and height. The Small/Medium size in the largest setting is the same as the Large/XL in its smallest size. The Pro Lite is available in Carbon/White.
