Super vents.
More air forced through frontal vents equals better cooling; the downfall of larger openings is usually weakened overall structure. The Maraka Road Helmet features 25 vents, with five of them using Kali Protectives' Supervent technology to maximize air intake and, most importantly, to easily pass tough CPSC safety standards.
These polycarbonate-reinforced openings feed 20 exhaust vents distributed throughout the Maraka Road's shell for extensive cooling — and the Supervents help achieve a 300-gram weigh in. Contributing to the low weight is an in-mold structure like most high-end helmets, but Kali's use of carbon and polycarbonate materials takes it a step further. This Fusion Plus technology also includes geometric shapes of softer EPS foam next to your head.
This means variable-density, cone-shaped foam will compress and direct energy sideways, away from your head. For padding, Kali's Bumper Fit System's absorbent, cross-linked polymer wicks and is soft against your skin, while also helping to absorb shock. Finally, a Dual Closure provides intuitive fit with quick and precise adjustments.
The Kali Protectives Maraka Road Helmet comes in three sizes: X-Small/small (50-54cm), Small/medium(54-58cm), and Medium/large(58-64cm).
