Kali Protectives Amara XC Helmet $0.00
Ready for your riding style.
Pull on the Kali Protectives Amara XC Helmet, finish your beer, and hit the trail. The Amara features more coverage in the rear to protect your dome better than a roadie helmet, and a breakaway visor to prevent twisting injuries when you take a digger. Kali also bonds foam and polystyrene together to create a more effective impact-absorption cocktail.
- Airflow system with 17 vents keeps you cool while you chug up the hills
- EPS foam absorbs impact without transferring too much to your brain case
|Avita Fiberglass XC|
- How to Measure:
- For best results, use a tape measure.
- Measure around your head where your hat would fit comfortably.

This helmet looks and fits great, but the durability, specifically the visor, isn't worth a penny. My first try at this helmet I received it with a broken visor inside the box. I figured just a dud or slip in quality control, and Huck got me a new one right away. Having worn it less than 10 rides, and stored inside a garage for 6 montsh, my daughter knocked my bike and the helmet fell off the handle bars...breaking this visor too. I now the visor flips up and down during rides with only two "hinges" still holding on. Never buying Kali again, just not worth it.
Light and tight!
Love this helmet, and a steal at its current price!
Kali Amara XC
Looks good, fits good. Easy to adjust. Definitely recommend.
Kali Amara Keeping It Kool
After an avid in-store and online search for a progressive XC helmet I found KALI Protectives. The Amara is the most comfortable, lightweight and easy to adjust. The first day I received Amara XC in the mail I wore it on a 20.25 ride. My hair is long and I get hot headed on long rides but the Amara XC's air vent design keeps my dome kool so I can Rock&Roll longer and harder.
Great price here on HuckNRoll too!
Nice skull cushion
This helmet is more comfortable than my last one. Lightweight and easy to adjust.
Looks good, but is budget & shows. Get what you pay for. Velcro tabs glued on crooked, pad ends hanging loose/not aligned well, rear plastic cinch just lets go (loosening helmet again)... was willing to ignore that for the price & supporting local biz, but the thing just didn't fit well on me.
Good looking very lightweight and not bad for the price...
Goofing around town...
Wearing my Kali...
Great helmet, looks good, lightweight, great coverage behind the ear and the back of the head.
Sizing is the only thing I have to caution people on. Although helmet sizes vary, generally they are close (in other words a medium from brand "A" is the same as medium of brand "B"). 99% of my helmets are medium but this particular helmet their MEDIUM/LARGE was more like the medium of other helmet makers.
Otherwise this is a great helmet! I use it for XC, DJ, AM and even light FR/DH riding.
