K-Edge Pro Handlebar Mount for GoPro Hero $0.00
The allure of a POV camera is hard to deny, especially when there is twisting singletrack or fast descents to be tamed and simultaneously shown to the world. The K-Edge Pro Handlebar Mount for your GoPro Hero camera satiates multiple narcissistic cravings at once while providing a reliable and visually satisfying perch befitting the simplicity of the GoPro itself.
With their basic packages, GoPro offers a commendable array of mounts for just about every mounting application imaginable, but what they offer in selection, they more than lack in durability. Rough trails and gravel roads wreak havoc on the brittle plastic joints of the handlebar mounts, leading to failure. So just as they created solutions for chain-dropping during Paris-Roubaix, Idaho-based K-Edge has just introduced the Go-Big Pro Handlebar Mount — an elegant and bomb-proof new solution for mounting your GoPro camera on your handlebars. These are the same mounts used by pro teams like Garmin-Barracuda, the BMC Pro Racing Team, and our very own Competitive Cyclist Pro Team. In fact, watch our boy Chad Beyer take a GoPro for a hot lap around the Redlands Classic Criterium course.
The Go-Big Pro Handlebar Mount differs slightly from its little brother, the standard Handlebar Mount, only in that your angle options are expanded thanks to the elongated 'boom' style mount on the Pro. You can lower the camera to watch your front wheel as it gobbles up the tarmac, extend it out past your shifter cables for a crystal clear view of the trail ahead, or you can angle it towards the sky to capture your best suffer face. Both mounts otherwise provide excellent camera stability and bomb-proof mounting to your bars for perfectly capturing dodgy singletrack or your fastest Strava descents.
Like their excellent chain-catchers, the K-Edge Go-Big Pro Handlebar Mount is made in Boise, Idaho from CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum. It fits all 31.8mm bars, and includes all of the mounting hardware — you'll only need an allen key to get it dialed in. All told, the mount only adds 46 grams to your rig, and should you manage to somehow break it, K-Edge backs all their mounts with a lifetime warranty. Choose between Black, Gunmetal, or Anodized Red.

Very Solid and Stable
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is absolutely the most solid and stable handlebar mount for GoPro's that is available. Also very easy to put on and take off, but absolute bomb proof and stable when it's on your ride. Only complaint is the price, but I can see where K-Edge is coming from. This becomes more of an investment than anything because you're going to have this for many seasons to come.

Best handlebar mount for biking

I use this on both my road and mountain bikes.
Hands down the best handle bar mount available.
Much more secure than the GoPro version. I mount it so that the GoPro hangs upside down protecting it in the event of a crash.
It is very rigid and produces better results (less camera vibration/shake) compared to using the GoPro brand mounts.

I have a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic and wondered if this would fit on the thick handlebar or even the crash bars?
Best Mount Out There
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
So I have broken quite a few of the plastic go pro mounts or was disappointed with how much they shake, well not this guy. This mount isnt going to brake any sooner than the handlebars its mounted to. There is zero shaking and it also looks pretty cool. I dont love the screw that holds the gopro in place because it seems easy to strip and requires a pretty small allen wrench. Overall it was definitely worth the 50 bucks.
Super sercure mount
I'll be honest at first I was like you're kidding me that a mount for a gopro was going to run me $50. But after using it I tossed the old (plastic) mount in the trash. This thing doesn't move at all and matched up perfect to 31.8 bars. I was very surprised with how stable and quiet it is compared to the old option which would wiggle loose every time I tried to ride with it. My only gripe is the price.
I have mine upside down, just change the setting in your camera to flip the image. You can install it the other way but I preferred this way because of how the video looks. You should try both ways to see which you prefer.
It works for me
Best handlebar mount
This handlebar mount eliminates almost any shake. High quality no plastic parts. It works.
