Go on an adventure.

The 2016 Juliana Nevis Carbon CC X01 Complete Mountain Bike brings classic hardtail fun into the modern racing era with updated geometry and industry-leading carbon design for a fast ride and many trail adventures. Whether you're traversing the continental divide or heading out for a summer jam at the local ski resort, the Nevis Carbon CC is up to tackle it all in style.

For 2016, Juliana listened to rider feedback and put the Nevis frame on an intense winter program. This year's version comes out dressed in carbon fiber with a slightly longer cockpit than previous versions to improve handling and comfort out on the trail. At 69 degrees, the head angle is agile when climbing, but still leaves enough stability to keep you composed during high-speed descents. The roomy cockpit provides ample room to stretch out and get comfortable on longer rides, and positions you between the wheels for neutral handling. In other words, when you ask the Nevis to do something, it’ll oblige without fuss, because it's capable enough to get you through hairy sections of trail with a smile on your face.

Juliana knows that trail riding is all about balance. The Nevis' carbon lay-up is engineered to provide a perfect blend of stiff speed, durable strength, and comfortable compliance in a lightweight package that's easy to throw around in the dirt. A tapered head tube along with a rear thru-axle and a beefy 73mm threaded bottom bracket give this frame a stiff, responsive ride, while the 27.2mm seatpost provides just the right amount of compliance for long days in the saddle. As an added bonus, internal cable routing makes for clean lines and a hassle-free setup.

The Nevis Carbon CC X01 build starts off with a Fox 32 Float Factory 100mm travel fork. The drivetrain consists of SRAM X01 components and a Race Face Turbine crankset. With a 32t chainring up front and a 10-42t cassette in the rear, the Nevis provides ample gearing for a wide variety of terrain. A set of Shimano XT M8000 brakes pairs with Ice-Tech rotors to keep you firmly in control on all but the steepest lines. For the cockpit, Juliana supplies a custom handlebar, a pair of grips, and a women-specific saddle while a Race Face stem and Easton seatpost keep the controls in check. The Nevis CC X01 rolls on a set of DT Swiss 350 hubs laced to 27.5in WTB Asym i23 rims wrapped in Maxxis Ikon tubeless tires for sharp engagement and confident traction.

Max tire size up front?

Hey Julia - I would recommend not running any tire above a 2.5" up front on the Juliana Nevis. Feel free to contact me directly if you are interested in ordering this bike or have any additional questions.
