Touring 1 Handlebar Bag

Touring riders often need an extra, easily accessible place to stash maps, snacks, a phone, and even lights for nighttime visibility. That is where the Jandd Touring 1 Handlebar Bag becomes the perfect accessory.

Jandd constructs all of its bags from Dupont's Cordura fabric. This weave features a high degree of abrasion resistance and it also isn't affected by mold and mildew. It uses a 500Denier weave rather than the heavier 1000Denier. Interestingly, the smaller weave is tighter and therefore more impervious to water. It also features a softer hand that makes carrying the bags more comfortable. To further assist with water resistance, every bag is coated with a Hydrothane coating. This is an environmentally friendly coating that helps to repel water, keeping your gear dry. The pack is built around stiff HDPE plates and it features a diagonal rod as an additional stiffener.

The Touring 1 Handlebar pack mounts to handlebars with a quick-release bracket. This makes removing it fast and simple. The bracket fits bars up to 31.8mm in diameter. The HDPE plates and rods help to keep the bag stiff so that it doesn't sag. And, when you are done riding, or need to pack all your gear in a suitcase, the handlebar bag easily folds flat. For easy carrying off the bike, the bag includes D-rings for optional shoulder straps.

To ensure that this bag is as useful as possible to the touring rider, the main compartment opens away from the rider to allow easy, safe, on-the-go access. Side compression straps help to secure your load for stability, and the mesh pockets feature elastic straps at the top to keep contents from bouncing out. The pack comes with a marine-grade vinyl zippered map compartment, and to help keep you visible in low-light conditions, a strip of 3M reflective material has been sewn across the front of the bag. 

The Jandd Touring 1 Handlebar Bag is available in one size and the color Black. This model holds 828 cubic inches. If you find you need a little more space or extra pocket room, the Touring 2 comes with the addition of a zippered front pocket.
