Here's what others have to say...

Good quality video and photos, but...

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Heavy construction and NO NEED for waterproof enclosure! Great quality video and still photos. Tripod mount built in (but it is plastic, so be careful of that piece). Still photo aspect ratio is 4:3, NOT 16:9 so editing photos with video leaves ugly side bars.

Inferior to Contour and Go Pro

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I owned a GO PRO till it was stolen a few years ago. It was expensive but my favorite camera of these three. My friend fortunately let me borrow his Contour camera which was pretty great to use to. Video's were clear and held up with all the crazy movements. I needed to eventually invest in my own camera so I purchased this due to the price point. It was a mistake! I would not advise this camera as it is a inferior product to the other two brands. I have not tried out the Sony helmet cam yet. I would muster up another hundred dollars and try to buy a Contour if you like the design of this camera. Hope my review helps guide your decision. Cheers!
