Big Air CO2 Cartridge

Bigger is lighter, and arguably better. The 40g Big Air cartridge is for people who need to fill big tires on the trail. The differences between these and the traditional CO2 cartridge are many. First, the container is aluminum, not steel. Second, the gas inside is propane. By comparison, two 16g CO2 cartridges produce the same result with much more weight. The result is a cartridge that can fill two 26 x 2.0in MTB tires to approximately 40psi. Bigger tires need more air, and smaller need less, so adjust accordingly. It never hurts to have extra cartridges on the trail.

This threaded canister works with the following Genuine Innovations (formerly Innovations in Cycling) air products: Air Chuck SL , Microflate, Second Wind IH, Second Wind MTB, Ultraflate, Ultraflate Plus, and Ultraflate Pro. Notice the arrows on the cartridge when inflating. The cartridge should be pointed down to get the most from the propane.

Warnings: Contains propane, don't leave it in the car. After 85 degrees Fahrenheit in a car, it will overheat. Big air is just for MTB, not ATVs, motorcycles, or cars. Do not smoke when inflating tires. After bringing bike home, inflate with conventional air pump for safety and consistent air pressure. The canister is 3.89x 1.5x1.5.in 2.72oz.
