Super Easy to Install

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Ordered this to convert my i9 XC rear wheel from a standard QR 10x135 to a 12x142mm thru-axle. SUPER easy to install and works perfectly. I'm thrilled to have a wheelset with hubs that are so easy to convert. Just another satisfied i9 customer here ;)

Will this work for the torch hubs?

Will this work for the torch hubs?

This is not needed for the new Torch hubs. The Torch hubs simply require different end caps the change form 10x135 and 12x142 axle standards.

is this product for coverting a cone and ball hub to sealed bearing setup?

This is for use on I9s older style classic, XC, and Enduro hubs and only changes the axle from the stock 10x135 standard to the newer 12x142 axle standard. The classic, XC, and Enduro hubs were stocked with sealed bearings, and this axle will not work with other manufacturers hubs using a cone and ball interface.
