Icebreaker Vibe Short - Women's $0.00
Nothing is going to make 5 hours in the saddle comfortable, except many more days in the saddle. You can take a little of the edge off now with Icebreaker Women's Vibe Cycling Shorts. Vibe Shorts incorporate an Italian chamois to reduce fatigue and manage moisture to keep you as comfortable as possible in the saddle. The main body is made with a blend of spandex, merino, and nylon that provides freedom of movement, fights odor, and wicks away sweat, all at the same time.
Icebreaker made the Vibe short with a blend of merino, nylon, and spandex. This durable fabric breathes well to allow your body to regulate its temperature efficiently. It also wicks moisture away from your skin and brings it to the surface of the fabric, where it can dry quickly. The stretch allows the short to conform to your shape for comfort and aerodynamics.
The shorts are designed around an ergonomic-cut, 8-panel design. The 7.25-inch inseam length is designed to fall just above the knee for plenty of thigh coverage without interfering while you pedal. Icebreaker also gave the Vibe Short a wide-contoured waist that rides lower than conventional bike shorts for added comfort went you're bent over in the pedal position. To finish off the Vibe short, Icebreaker added gripper elastic at the hems to keep the legs from riding up while you pedal.
The Icebreaker Women's Vibe Short comes in Black and is available in sizes XS through XL.

Can the chamois be removed without ruining...
Can the chamois be removed without ruining the short? I am looking for a wool fitness short for canoeing.
Negative, you would have seam issues.
Check out the merino wool base layer options.
