Torque Jersey - Short-Sleeve - Men's

The Torque jersey was developed by Icebreaker for warm weather riding conditions. Its lightweight merino fabric works perfectly for the hottest days, and it's also versatile enough to double as a layering piece when the temperature starts to fall. The technically advanced features and contoured fit make the Torque an ideal choice for the rider who demands comfort and support, driven by the natural powers of merino wool.

The Torque uses a blend of merino wool, nylon, and Lycra to achieve absolute freedom of movement while on the bike. Icebreaker's 200g merino combines the best qualities of traditional wool, synthetics and cotton. It’s soft and doesn't itch, it’s warm in the cold and cool in the heat, and it breathes. People have been drawn to these natural properties of merino for years, and now you receive them built directly into the paneling of your cycling jersey. Additionally, this lightweight merino blend pulls moisture vapor to the surface of the fabric, where it quickly evaporates -- It can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture before you even start to feel wet. And one of the best characteristics of this material is that it naturally resists odor, keeping you dry and fresh much longer than synthetic fabrics.

Though certainly not a compression top, the Torque was designed with a contoured fit. The Lycra in the fabric's makeup allows it to hold to your body while in motion, which provides comfort and reduces drag to take some of the edge off a headwind. Shaped raglan sleeves increase comfort and feel more natural than regular sleeves while tucked in the cycling position.

Three large back pockets provide plenty of storage, even for an all-day epic, and a pump-specific pocket keeps your pump from flopping around or falling out. Icebreaker also provided the Torque with a zippered media pocket with a headphone cord port, and a half-length front zipper was added for easy ventilation. Reflective piping at the back makes you more visible during an evening ride, and gripper elastic at the hem keeps everything securely in place.
