It isn't edible if you find yourself foodless in the wild, and it can't run home from work and turn on the stereo if you forgot to leave it on for your dog. What the Icebreaker Men's Commute Crew Jersey does do is regulate your body temperature (keep you warm when you need to be and vent excess heat when you hit your stride). And it fights post-workout odor so you don't have to change it the minute you stop moving (and so your office mates won't pass out before you get a chance to change). Icebreaker is still working on the other features. The dog thing will be tough, though.
