Rider Beware

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Split right down the center of the tread after roughly 500k of road-only riding. Out on a morning ride and--BOOM! Luckily it was on the way UP the climb... Lemon? Maybe. But I recommend avoiding these like the plague.

Not bad if they are on sale

I was able to snag these on sale and they were a decent tire, wear was ok and I didn't get any cuts in the tread. Not as sticky as other tires in the corners and the wear was respectable. They are worth it if you can snag a discount but don't compare to the other 60-80$ tire options (Michelin or Vittoria are my preference)

    SUCK!!!!!

After 200 miles and one winter hanging in the garage the center tread is seperating from the sidewalls (which are dry rotting). After dry rot issues with Hutchinson and Michelin tires I'm beginning to believe there's a French conspiracy going on here. My Vittoria CX's with 2,000 miles show none of this degredation

Are these road tubeless compatible? Ie can they run with no inner tubes on the proper rims?

The 'Atom Comp' is the standard tube type version of the 'Atom' tire. If you want tubeless you want the Atom tire linked below.
