Description

Solve your energy-bar problem.

If you've ridden the roads of Belgium, Honey Stinger's Organic Stinger Waffles might remind you of the waffles you'd have inevitably snacked on. But aside from the waffle pattern and round shape, the differences are perhaps greater than the similarities.

Honey Stinger's Waffles are created just for endurance athletes, not merely as a tasty morning snack. And that they're packaged in single serving units makes them easy to carry in your jersey pocket for that moment when you'd like to eat something with a bit of texture. The Stinger Waffles are simultaneously toasty and chewy as you eat them. And unlike bizarre lab-born products, the natural ingredients in the Waffles chew easily and go down quick -- almost too quick. Because they taste so good, you'd like for them to last a bit longer.

Like their other energy foods, the Honey Stinger Waffles rely on honey, nature's energy food, for a majority of the carbohydrate load. The honey is easily digested because it's made of a just-right 1:1 blend of fructose and glucose. It acts quickly to give you a burst of energy and is easy on the stomach. With the waffle, you'll also get carbs from organic wheat and soy flour along with organic cane sugar and rice syrup. Honey Stinger Organic Stinger Waffles are packaged in a box of 16 individually wrapped waffles. They come in Honey, Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, and Strawberry flavors and are a great on and off the bike snack.

  • Comes as a box of 16 individually wrapped waffles
  • Each 30g waffle contains 160 calories
  • The sweet and chewy waffle doesn’t taste like an ‘energy bar,’ and you may catch yourself eating them at home
  • Not safe for cyclists or runners with allergies to wheat, soy, or eggs

Trailside dessert.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Being the 100th 5-star rating for these waffles, I doubt there's much more I can say about them that hasn't already been said.

They're downright tasy and they're filling. I feel like I'm actually eating something substantial when I grab a package of these after a good climb. The honey one's were great, until I tried the vanilla and now I'm a genuine addict.

Honey is great tasting!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A friend turned me on to these. I liked the honey flavor so much I purchased a box. These really taste great and don't leave you dry mouth. No stomach cramps with these. Luv em!

blah

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Saw these on sale and picked up the big pack. Still have some left over from last year because I don't like the chocolate flavor and they don't seem to provide the energy I expect. I'll go back to the gels and rice cakes

Almost too good

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Amazing biking food, easy to eat, lots of energy, doesn't give you that sickly sweet overload, and unlike a cliff bar won't leave you with gut pains when you are bent of on a bike all day. Trouble is they are tasty enough you eat them when you aren't riding.

Energy on the go.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I eat these things while sitting on the couch they're so good. In the blue moon of an occasion I happen to find myself doing exercise on a bike, these things keep me going. Don't bother buying them individually, if we sold larger quantities, i'd buy that too.

Awesome

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Could eat 5 of these a day in the backcountry and never get sick of 'em. Taste good, easy to pack, and quick energy.

Chewy, Sweet and Tasty

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Waffles are the best trail/climbing snack to give you the energy you need when your draggin' butt. They are compact and flat so they take little to no room in your pack. But be careful... They are extremely good. You might want more than one!

A little firm when cold

Tastes great and melt in your mouth during summer but a bit firm on a cold day backcountry skiing.

These are delicious

As far as robot-food goes, this is gourmet. Powers you up, without draining your soul, like most others seem to do. Always the first food to come out of my pack.

Yummmm!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These things are super tasty and great for people on the go! I don't really think there is too much else to say... Buy 'em, Eat 'em!

Simple Delicious

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These things are super delicious. They are easy to eat (nothing too chewy) and provide some good quick energy. Honey Stinger definitely makes the most delicious trail food. All of the flavors are awesome!

Scrumptious Waffle Goodness

These are tasty and natural. The strawberry flavor isn't my favorite, but the honey and vanilla are good. Regardless of taste, they provide a good boost when pushing your limits.

Love them...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Favorite thing to eat on the bike after banana's. Powerbars are weird, either its to cold and they are like trying to eat frozen silly putty or its hot and they are like a semi solid gel that still requires chewing. And I've never met a clif bar that didnt require 2 watter bottles and a refil to wash down. Stinger waffles seem to almost melt in my mouth and dont leave me feeling like I have cotton mouth. Also feel like they work quicker, had a low glycogen moment between races this year that was quickly solved with a banana and honey waffle.

Just stick with honey. The other flavors dont seem to work so well, at least for me.

Must try energy product

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are so tasty why would you not buy them. Easy to eat, provide good energy and give your stomach the feeling that you have eaten that gels do not give.

Yummy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my favorite long distance snack. They are tasty and provide quick, ample energy for the long haul. I love to sandwich 2 honey flavor waffles together with peanut butter and a piece of bacon in the middle....yummmmm!

Quick Boost

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If EPO was legal, I'd obviously go that route, but since its not, and I can't afford that, I stick to Honey Stinger products. The waffles are great for a quick bite to keep you going after hours in the saddle. This mixed with some gel chews, and some gels is a great combo for hours upon hours on the road or trail. Flavors are all good (obviously personal preference plays a huge role here) but would suggest these to anyone looking to change up their workout diet.

Delicious

You should eat these, they are very tasty. I like lemon, honey and vanilla but the chocolate is gross.
