Unlike its PowerCore Flex cousins, the Hincapie PowerCore Mesh Sleeveless Base Layer has no intentions of pulling dual-climate duty. It is simply designed for the hottest afternoon rides, dedicated to keep you cool as you toil away on your most grueling local climb.

The principles for wearing a base layer for warm climates are essentially the same as those for wearing layers on cold rides: proper moisture management prevents your jersey from being overloaded with the sweat which impedes your skin's natural ability to regulate temperature. Hincapie's paper-thin PowerCore MeshTek fabric utilizes a recycled polyester stretch fiber weave with hollow 'cores' to deftly wick the moisture from your skin and transport it off the garment. Staying dry is clutch for keeping cool, and performing at your maximum potential. That signature MeshTek also uses recycled coffee grounds in the polyester blend to enhance the garment's odor-resisting capabilities, without compromising its natural quick-drying nature and temperature-regulating prowess. The PowerCore Mesh Sleeveless Base Layer has an ergonomic, slim fit, and an elongated body to tuck comfortably inside your bibs or tights. It is available in sizes Small through XX-Large, and in Black only.
