Cycling is a sport that owes much of its allure and beauty to the satisfaction of prevailing over harsh and unpredictable elements. The Hincapie Pocket Shell II Jacket allows you to remain prepared to face and triumph over those elements. Start a chill, wet morning ride with it, or pull it on at the apex of a climb; the Pocket Shell shelters you with its wind and water resistant fabric that is treated with an active DWR (durable water resistance) coating to repel moisture. The jacket features a weatherproof elastic hem, cuff, and collar to help seal out the cold and prevent your core from dumping warmth. But for those moments when your exertion outpaces your body's ability to regulate its own temperature, the underarms feature laser-cut ventilation ports to prevent that dreaded 'greenhouse effect' under the shell.
Constructed from E5 Micro Ripstop, the feathery Pocket Shell tips the scales at only three ounces, making it the lightest-weight, most stashable shell in Hincapie's line. This eminently packable jacket, in fact, it is designed to roll into itself and neatly stash into its own rear 7 by 3.5 inch pocket, so you can easily slide it into your jersey pocket when not in use. So it's always there for you when you need it, and out of the way when you don't. The Hincapie Pocket Shell II Jacket is available in sizes Small through XX-Large, and in both White and Fire colorways for maximum visibility.
