Constructed from a lightweight two-layer polyester ripstop, Hincapie's E5 2L Barrier Rainshell uses a water-resistant coating to provide the best combination of protection from weather and breathability.

At the front of the Elemental and around the shoulders, critically-taped seams add wet-weather capabilities, and it's further enhanced by a drop-tail hem, elastic cuffs, and full-coverage collar. There's a generous zippered rear pocket for storage, and a full-length front zip provides quick donning and adjustment of air flow.
