Hincapie Sportswear designed the Edge Cycling Jersey to encapsulate all key essential characteristics of a top-shelf cycling jersey: low weight, a comfortable and supportive fit, and highly functional design. Starting with TourTek fabric, Hincapie built the Edge to provide the best of both the polyester and Lycra worlds, so you benefit from the soft feel and moisture-wicking properties of polyester while maintaining the supportive fit and aerodynamic edge of Lycra.

For breathability and weight reduction, the Edge features Quantum Mesh stretch panels on the sides, back, and underarms. This increases airflow through the jersey to keep you cool, and aids in rapid moisture evaporation. Additionally, it stretches to move with you in the saddle.

Hincapie designed the cut to accommodate the position and movements of cycling. Accordingly, the rear of the jersey has been lengthened, while the front hem sits a bit higher on the stomach. While providing more adequate coverage than a traditional hem line, the system also serves to eliminate bunching and chaffing. Even the stripes on the Edge are made from Hincapie's HyperOptic elastane, which is colorful during the day and reflective in low-light conditions to help keep you visible when the color would go unappreciated, anyway.

The classic complement of three rear pockets is bolstered with a zippered, waterproof pocket for additional security, and laser-cut ProGrip bands lie flat to seal your sleeves in place without pinching for aerodynamic comfort.
