Hincapie loaded its Edge Bib Short with all of its best hot-weather technology. The Edge Bib Short’s strategically placed high tech features and fabrics work with your body to regulate temperature and reduce energy-robbing heat, even during the hottest days of summer.

Hincapie built the body of the Edge Bib Short with its AT2 Force Lycra Power fabric — a polyester and Lycra Power yarn blend that provides a supple feel. In addition to effectively wicking moisture away from your skin, this fabric provides compressive support, which reduces muscle fatigue and helps promote positive bloodflow to your muscles. This material also incorporates Coldblack technology — a finishing treatment that reduces the absorption of heat rays in darker fabrics. The result is protection from the sun and improved heat management. The Edge Bib Short also incorporates strategically placed MachSpeed sublimated panels for a supple, supportive fit.

For increased breathability and further weight reduction, the Edge Bib Short features Diamond Mesh at the bib straps. This mesh promotes airflow through the uppers in order to keep you cool, and to aid in rapid moisture evaporation. It also aids the fit and movement of the bib shorts with its malleable composition. So, when you bend and flex in the cycling position, the Diamond Mesh construction helps the braces move with your body, not against it.

The insert incorporated into Edge bib shorts is the ProTour Chamois. This insert utilizes a combination of variable density foam padding with perforated, high-density foam inserts to provide comfort, freedom of movement, and breathability.
