H3 Plus Carbon Road Wheelset - Clincher

Drawing inspiration from decades of wheel design and testing, HED's iconic Airfoil three-spoke design slices the wind and reduces drag across a wide range of yaw angles. The wheels increase speed in conditions from perfect calm to swirling wind gusts to speed-boosting tailwinds.

Realizing that time trialists and triathletes are no longer running razor-thin 18 and 19mm tires, HED gives the H3 Plus a wide 25.5mm rim that accommodates 22 to 25mm clinchers. Ridden with modern tire sizes, this widened rim profile boosts rolling speed while creating a smoother ride with better cornering grip. The deep 60mm rim further adds to your aerodynamic advantage, so you can transform countless training hours into PRs and podium finishes on race day. Moreover, the alloy braking track is superior to its carbon counterparts by remaining responsive throughout your race or training ride.

The HED Sonic H3 Hub is compatible with Shimano/SRAM 9,10, and 11-speed drivetrains, with 9 and 10-speed cassettes requiring separate spacers. Each H3 Plus Carbon Road Wheelset includes titanium skewers. Please note that the H3 Plus' widened profile is incompatible with many older time trial frames with limited clearance.
