Does it all with ease.

The GT Sensor Expert Complete Mountain Bike's lightweight frame and solid componentry lets you take full advantage of trail furniture whether you're banking berms on singletrack or grunting over a rocky crux. With five inches of travel, the versatile frame is ready for long days of exploration on the trails and isn't afraid of a few bumps.

GT starts with a hydroformed 6069 aluminum frame, which offers both lightness and durability without the price tag of carbon. Designed with trail-ready geometry, the Sensor Expert was built with a moderate, 68.5-degree head tube angle and 73.5-degree seat tube angle, so you'll be stable while picking lines on root-latticed descents while staying centered over your pedals so you don't lose valuable power on long climbs. The Independent Drivetrain suspension system uses a pivot design to provide consistency through the pedal stroke, and works with a FOX FLOAT CTD fork with 130mm of plush, bump-absorbing travel and a RockShox Sektor Gold RL rear shock that encourages high-speed descents.

For dependability out on the trails, GT outfits the Sensor Expert with an easy-to-operate Shimano and Race Face drivetrain, including a 10-speed cassette and Shimano Shadow Plus Rear Derailleur. A standard Race Face crankset provides you with a wide range of gear ratios so you're able to take on steep switchbacks and traverse under chairlifts with ease, while Italian-made Formula RX disc brakes paired with 180mm rotors give you steep-line reassurance that you'll be able to stop no matter how messy trail conditions get. Rounding out the build kit, we love the mix of desirable finishing touches GT includes on the Sensor Expert: WTB's tubeless-ready ST i23 TCS rims wrapped with durable Continental X-King tires that are ready to grip the trails, along with a Fizik Tundra2 mg saddle and KS LEV Integra dropper seat post with an included remote and 125mm of drop, so you don't have to interrupt your ride to stop and adjust your seat post out on the trails.
