Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 SO Gloves $0.00
Warmth without bulk.
When the weather cools down, gloves become bulky and dexterity takes a back seat to warmth. Gore Bike Wear, however has the innovative materials and know-how to put an end to this inverse relationship. The Xenon 2.0 SO Gloves use a smart mix of WindStopper and polyester to offer winter cyclists an unobtrusive, snug fit for cold winter rides.
The Xenon 2.0 SO Gloves feature a WindStopper membrane along the back of the hand and fingers to keep cold air from penetrating and negativity affecting braking or shifting performance. At the palm, a low-profile gel pad offers vibration reduction for reduced fatigue, without taking away from the connection to the bicycle. Gore also added strengthening and reinforcement between the thumb and forefinger that not only enhances durability, but grip as well.
The Xenon's fingertips receive silicone grippers to ensure brake and shift levers are positively engaged even when wet. And the backside of the fingers get a reflective treatment for added low-light safety. The Xenon 2.0 SO Gloves come in Small through XXX-Large sizes and two colors; Black and Black/White.

Just what I needed in a winter glove
I'm a fan of Gore products and this glove has not let me down. I wanted a glove that was not to big and bulky, yet keeps my hands warm and still allow fluid finger movement - this glove has been that and more. I've used the glove down to 32* with winds from 10-20 mph and riding near the river and they've kept my hands warm and dry. I have not experience any numbness either. Happy customer. I would recommend these gloves.
What I like:
1. not big and bulky
2. allows fluid finger movement
3. extended material that allows the glove to fit under a long sleeve jersey or jacket to keep air out
4. plays nicely with the gel tape on my handle bar
5. positive grip
What I don't like: No dislikes
Gore Bikewear Xenon
I am a Gore Mountain Tech member and have had the prior version of the Gore Bikewear Xenon Gloves for 2 years now. I use several Gore products and do so when I need a product I can rely on to protect me from the elements. I live in the DC area and commute an hour each way through the winter. I was looking for a glove that wasnt bulky but kept me warm. These gloves do exactly that. The Windstopper protection keeps me warm into temperatures reaching the teens. Keep in mind that I am on a road bike creating my own 20mph winds as well.
Once in the teens you can begin to feel some of the cold so at this point it becomes necessary for further protection. These gloves dont have any other insulation other than the Windstopper fabric. I would highly recommend trying the new Thermal version of these gloves. I think that would provide a step up in protection without adding much bulk. I plan to test them out ASAP. Another option to adding protecting is slipping a liner on underneath these gloves.
I have also used these gloves in Adventure Races where we spend an entire night in the woods and on roads sometimes in very cold conditions. The gloves again provided protection to a certain point where more insulation was necessary.
Highly recommended and worth the cost.
