Description

Cap off the cold.

There is an insane amount of energy and time spent to give helmets excellent air flow and aerodynamics. This, however, is less than ideal when the mercury drops. The Gore Bike Wear Universal Thermo Beanie fixes that downfall by employing proprietary fabrics to offer cold-weather comfort.

Thermo-stretch fabric helps retain heat while pulling perspiration from the head to keep you warm and dry. The fabric is very low-profile to easily fit under helmets, and it packs very small for stuffing in a rear pocket. The Gore Bike Wear Universal Thermal Beanie comes in ones size, and two colors, Black or Red.

Drafty, Cold Ear Lobes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am a daily commuter and rely on my tried and true winter kit more than anything at this time of the year. When i recently lost my old Turtle Fur Beanie, i went for this beanie as a replacement, and sad that i did. While the beanie is well made, of warm materials, its one size fits feel geared toward the youth and riders with small heads and/or no hair. No matter how much i tugged on it and how tight i made my helmet, I could not keep my full ears covered. Too bad, I really wanted this to join my winter kit.
