Stop the wind

Your hands are warm at the beginning of your ride, but heat starts to leach away from them as your body works to keep your core warm. Keep your attention focused on your riding and not your hands with Gore's Road Windstopper Thermo Gloves.

Constructed with Gore's much lauded Windstopper fabric, the Road Thermal gloves' shell provides total windproofness. When it's not raining, wind is the number one enemy to your extremities. By keeping wind off your hands, body heat is retained. The gloves' insulation, PrimaLoft, helps to trap that heat in its loft. The gloves feature a stretchable, tight inner cuff with a pull on tab, and extra-long wrist cuffs provide a flat overlap between gloves and jacket. A hook and loop closure adjusts width.

Because handlebar interface is especially important in wintery riding conditions, silicone coats the fingers. The fabric is strengthened between the thumb and forefinger for better grip on the hoods. Absorbent material on the thumb wipes away perspiration and your runny nose. For low light visibility, reflective inserts are placed in the little fingers.

The Gore Road Windstopper Thermo Gloves are available in sizes Small to XXX-Large and in the color Black.

Does The Job Well

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wore these on New Year's Day (20F) ride and they did the job.

Great Cold Weather Gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are very warm and about as good as it gets for balancing warmth and dexterity. The cuff on the glove is very long and is pretty tight and a little hard to pull off and on but helps keep cold air out. They are perfect for me between 25-45 degrees.

Nice design, poor contruction

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Good news: These are well designed, cold-weather gloves that are comfortable down to ~25F. Bad news: I wore them about five times under normal conditions before noticing that all of the stitching had started to come undone. I would avoid these.
