How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Arm Length:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

Quality Tight for cool not cold weather

Typical Gore quality and fit but most definatly not a cold weather item. I would say the 45F is a good lower target limit. Item does seem to run true to size.

Really nice comfy warm tights!

Very comfy--no bunching in crotch. Legs are long. Stirrups hold tights down. Nice pad. With toe covers I'm wearing booties less. The highlight is the double layer of material starting on the lower thigh, covering the the knee and some of the shin. It doesn't restrict motion and keeps my knees much warmer. MTB in near freezing temps comfortably. Road ride comfortably to low 40's high 30's. The medium fit me fine (32" waist, 34" inseam, 175#). They don't get clammy like windstopper does.

Responded on

Gore Bike Wear does not put temperature ratings on any of their pieces as some people naturally run warmer than others. That said, I personally would wear this piece to 45 degrees, below which I would probably switch to a piece with Windstopper (like this: http://www.realcyclist.com/gore-bike-wear-oxygen-so-bib-tight-mens ).

I generally run a little colder than others, for what that is worth.

Hope that helps,
Robert, Gore Bike Wear
