Nice gloves but.....
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I use these gloves for road cycling. They are warm and lightweight. The fit is true to size. The cuff is long enough to cover your jacket sleeve so no cold air gets in while riding.
However, the gloves don't have a rubberized pad on the first 2 fingers. It's almost impossible to grab your water bottle, or put the bottle back in the cage. It's a major issue for me. Good outdoor glove, not a good cycling glove.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Lightweight, warm when they need to be, and quite breathable when you're going hard. I bought the men's version first, then bought my wife a pair. Great for everything outside, including XC skiing and running.
I've been looking for gloves with long enough fingers for about a year. These are by far the best I have found. They keep my hands warm overall, but still get a little chilly on a downhill at 30 degrees. The one thing I really dislike is that there is no Velcro at the wrist. I had to get a M to fit my fingers, and the cuff is about 2" too wide around. A Velcro closure would let me tighten it up. However, I just slip the cuffs under my jacket and that works okay.
