Say goodbye to the days of wrestling with your bib shorts under your jersey when nature calls mid-ride. The Gore Bike Wear Women's Power Bib Shorts eliminate the quandary of finding a place for your jersey, jacket, gloves, and other layers while trying to remove your bibs in a hurry. A hinged zipper opening at the waist of the Power Bib makes for quick and hassle-free breaks on the go. The easy zip-away waist top means you have the comfort of wearing a bib and the convenience of traditional cycling shorts.

The hinged zipper connects the well-designed bib to the shorts, a new addition from the higher-end Xenon line. The women-specific X-shape front runs over the breastbone, keeping the bib straps secure and comfortable on your shoulders. The bib front has a hook closure to keep the straps perfectly positioned as well. The airy, polyester-elastane mesh construction on the straps helps move air through the fabric to your skin, keeping temperatures regulated on long, hot rides.

The womens' Power chamois rounds out these shorts. A workhorse on medium to long rides, the chamois has channeling on top and a stretchy micro-fiber that wicks moisture away. The seamless design and cushioning properties give an anatomical fit that helps keep your sit-bones and soft tissue comfortable for miles.

A compressive nylon-elastane fabric makes these shorts a midrange performer in the Gore line, falling between the Xenon and Contest in quality and durability. A reflective flag on the back and logos on the side keep you visible during early morning and evening rides.

The Gore Bike Wear Women's Power Bib Shorts come in Black, Black/white, and White/black. They are available in X-Small to XX-Large with an inseam measure of 23cm (9in).

  • Seamless Power Lady chamois offers an anatomical fit with elasticity, ventilation and breathability for long-distance comfort
  • Women's specific mesh bib clips in the front so the straps never slip or rub
  • Patented two-zip system makes mid-ride pit stops fast and easy
  • Gripper elastic holds the hems in place
  • Reflective logo on side makes you more visible in low light

Look sheer, not taking a chance

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Although these would probably be fine, they are pretty sheer. I've never worn bibs and thought the price was right to try some, especially with the zipper system. However, I decided to wait until another pair of bibs comes along that I'm sure I'll be comfortable with. I'm 5'4" 120 lbs. I ordered the xs because the xs shorts fit. It made for a snug fit in bibs, though.

Worth it for the zipper top!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm pretty big into bib shorts since my pre-pubecent like boyish hips don't hold regular shorts up very well. Downside to bibs is always the fact you have to take your cycling top off to pee. Gore has solved this problem with the Power bibs. If you aren't doing 3-4 hour rides everyday, these are great. The chamois is a higher density than the slightly more expensive version, so if you don't plan on hammering in them, you will be comfortable. I weigh 130, I'm 5'9 and found the medium to fit a litter looser than I typically like, but this could be because the fabric has A LOT of stretch to it. I didn't find that the fabric was at all sheer. I use these bib shorts for both mountain and road and have found they work well as a liner or alone on the road.

these bibs are thin, so thin you can see right through them. spent a day in the saddle sitting off the back trying not to ruin anyone's view. rode 80 mi regretting this purchase. i really wish i could return these.

I believe B.C.'s policy is "return anytime, any reason, next day or 30 years"...or something like that...Anyway, seriously, read the fine print on their return policy, I would hate to see you not take advantage and keep these.

    Good luck!

if the size of the bib is not good, is it...

if the size of the bib is not good, is it replaceable?

Yes, you have 60 days from the time you receive to return it for a full refund or a different size (if available).
