Ready to ride.

Gore Bike Wear understands the demands of racing cyclists are relatively simple, which is why you'll find the Oxygen Short-Sleeve Jersey has a full-length zipper, light and breathable fabric, and a race cut. Sitting close to the top of Gore Bike Wear's line of road jerseys, the Oxygen lies just between the Xenon and the Power.

The Oxygen combines a slim, race-inspired cut with mesh at the underarms and back of the neck to bring cool air to areas that need it most. This helps regulate temperature while you're in the saddle and makes the jersey perfectly suited for long, warm summer rides. An underflap runs behind the full-length zipper to keep it from catching undergarments or irritating skin when riding.

A partially elastic gripper on the hem keeps the jersey in place, even when the three-compartment rear pockets are weighed down with essentials. In addition to the three standard pockets, a single zippered pocket adds secure storage for keys and credit cards. Reflective logos on the front and back, and piping on the rear, add visibility during early morning and evening rides.

The Gore Bike Wear Oxygen Short-Sleeve Jersey comes in White/weekend green, Red/white, Cadmium Yellow/white, and Black/white, with sizes available from Small to XX-Large.

Nice fabric, but could feel seams

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I'm 6'4 and 185 pounds. Fabric is soft although I could feel the seams which was a little uncomfortable. Large was a good fit on chest and shoulders, a little tight in the neck. As with most jerseys, it was a bit short for me because of my height, but it the fit was otherwise standard for a tight (not race) cut. If anyone knows long fitting jerseys, please let me know!

My favorite jersey

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

Had purchased one Oxygen Jersey from the LBS when I bought my first bike a few years ago. I loved the fit of the jersey and found them on sale here for half the cost at my LBS so of course I snatched another up. These jerseys fit snugly and comfortably, even on a long ride. Plenty of room in the three rear pockets and the zippered small pocket is nice to hold a house key while out.

Nice jersey. Six pockets. Slightly long.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I have 3 of these jerseys, size small. I like the snug fit throughout the jersey, except it is longer in the back than it needs to be. I really like the six pockets: 3 rear pockets, plus a zippered rear pocket, plus a narrow pocket on each side, perfect for a Lezyne pump in one and Clif shot blocks in the other. The fabric is comfortable and the sleeves are snug against my narrow arms.

Excellent Jersey for all distances!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Advertised as a long distance jersey this bad boy can also be used for shorter rides as the material is light and has a good feel against the skin. I'm 5’8”, 163lbs, 39” chest and a 31.5” waist. According to the chart I would need a large but after seeing the video of the model at 6’0” and 170” I ordered the medium and glad I did. The fit is perfect. The material is light and conforms to the body well. It fits nice and just barely snug around the chest, arms and mid-section, no sagging in the back which I was afraid would happen with the large (thanks for uploading the Gore video). After having it on for a minute I didn’t even feel it on me; a good trait IMO for any cycling attire. The bonus to this great jersey is the great generous pockets. There are two additional side pockets not advertised. They are part of the meshing and can be used to house something cylindrical or smooth-surfaced (wouldn’t want to rip up the nice material). You can store something like an Olbas inhaler, lip balm, energy blocks, cash, CO2 cartridge… you get the point. I’m very happy with my purchase. BTW- I picked up the yellow as I’m doing more early morning rides and being visible by motorist and others is paramount.

Worked as Designed

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

It's a little warm in the higher temps, but wicks the moisture away quickly when moving. The integrated "backpack" pockets really do hold everything together, I swear I find I can fit a whole camping trip in those massive pockets. This jersey is super comfortable for all distances and I would highly recommend it.

The grippers on the back work well and the bright red I got is highly visible in all weather. I'm a 5'11" male weighing 195lbs and I opted for an XL, slightly larger than what I usually get and the fit was spot on.

Great video AAL5002! Thanks for uploading as it helped figure out my size via the model.
