Here's what others have to say...

quality is not as good as others

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

this product quality is not as good as other Gore bike wear products. After 2 times of washes, I found my finger goes through the pocket. I reverse the inside out to see what's going on... I found the pocket was made by pasted on certain tap between the pocket and main body. It's not stitched on it. Anyway....without pocket it still works. Just a little bit dissapoint

Great pants

I like these pants so much, I bought a 2nd pair. They are my 1st choice to take touring and wear them commuting to work.

Got them out this morning 33 degrees with a good wind blowing... Perfect weather to test these bad boys out... Right off the bat these are extremely comfortable ( I got 1 size larger for baggier feel) and the fit was great with a pair of Gore Thermo+ Bibs. I was out on a nippy breezy day and they are 100% windproof and very water resistant... I drop into a creek and water repelled without issue. and the wet part dried extremely quick... Needless to say they are worth the money! So much I got me the 3/4 pants as well. I really recommend getting these for winter mountain bike riding...

      Satisfied for a while...

Well? I finally received them and I couldn't wait to try them on... I have pretty thick muscular legs, so I opted for the XL, I may have gotten away with a Large as they seem roomier than that ALP-X 2.0 pants. but the fit is extremely comfortable and they are not falling off me... I figured if they feel a bit loose, I can get them taken in. The feel is soft extremely comfy and really can't beat 2 in one with the zip-offs... it is a rainy day today and was able to test them right away... they are NOT waterproof but extremely water resistant. I personally really like the attention to detail on the velcro and even velcro on the button... I had returned a pair of Enduras because the button wouldn't stay clipped.
Overall I am already a fan of Gore Bike Wear and I know that I'll have these pants for many years to come... Bring it on Winter!!!!

I would like to thank Clay D. who what the chat rep who helped me get this in time for the weekend. His service and patience was SUPERB!!! needless to say reps like him is what makes real cyclist the place for me to shop online for my bike needs.

Write your question here...Isn't there a length specified... the sizing chart is useless, no entry for inseam... these are pants aren't they?. If its XL, what's the inseam lenght?

I'm 6 ft 1 in, and in between the medium and large on the sizing chart. Do these fit true, or small?

        Hey elm5340148,

Thanks for your question. The Gore Bike Wear Fusion SO Pant fits pretty true to size so you can size up if you like a slightly baggy feel or down if you are looking for a tighter, more athletic feel.

        Great Pants!!

These pants are excellent. They do totally block the wind but still don't allow the sweat the build up. They have all the features you could want. My preference would be for them not to be zip offs because you can feel the seam a bit. However, I have other hiking zip offs and these are more comfortable then those so I do recommend them and would buy them again.

          Great pants

Wore these during my adventure race; great pants for cycling/running/orienteering.
