Description

When a softshell jacket is a bit overkill, but you still want your core to stay warm and dry when the heavens open up, the packable Gore Bike Wear Fusion Cross 2.0 AS Jacket is your saving grace.

If your modus operandi is to go to the source, then you are well served, as Gore Bike Wear is the name behind the venerable Gore-Tex products that now grace everything from tents to umbrellas. The Fusion Cross 2.0 jacket was constructed of its lightweight WindStopper Active Shell, which repels water and wind. The inside of the jacket features a mesh lining that helps to pull perspiration away from your skin and jersey to keep breathability high. Additionally, zippered underarm ventilation and a full-length adjustable zipper allow you to further dump heat if necessary.

The Fusion Cross was designed with the riding position in mind. To this end, an extended back and longer arms keep you covered, and adjustable cuffs secure the sleeves over your gloves. The shoulders were reinforced so that straps from a hydration pack do not wear through. A front chest pocket has been added to hold your valuables, while reflective piping sewn into the seams keeps you bright in low-light visibility.

The Gore Bike Wear Fusion Cross 2.0 AS Jacket - Men's is available in five sizes from Small to XX-large and in the colors Blaze Orange/raven brown, Neon Yellow/black, Fresh Green/black, Red/black, and Graphite Grey/black.

  • WindStopper Active Shell
  • Mesh lining inside jacket
  • Zippered underarm vents

Great materials-well constructed

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

This jacket looks great to be used in cool weather, wet weather and has some nice features . . .pocket in the front has a glass cleaning cloth attached and a small opening to run your headphone cord. It would be nice to have a rear pocket though.

Just a thought . . .the size chart listed had me sized at a Large based on chest and arm measurements. It was WAY too big for me.

Perfect for variable conditions

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I have ridden with this jacket in all types of conditions. From wind to rain, sleet to snow it has kept me warm and dry. It layers well and the cut is fantastic with ample length in the arms and back. The collar is also one of my favorite parts about the jacket as it is tall to keep the neck warm but also flexible so it doesn't get in the way. It is pound for pound one of my favorite pieces.
