Additionally, Gore integrated a long zipper for easy release of built up heat from the jersey's insulation layer. Equally important to the jersey is its anatomic, precise fit. With side slits at the hem and a raglan cut, the Contest Thermo allows complete freedom of movement in and out of the saddle. To ensure proper jersey position during movement, Gore uses elastic grippers at the sleeves and hem.
