Bib tights? Couldn't believe I dig them.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great set of cycling bib tights. I really appreciate the zip function so that we can use the ladies' room with ease without having to remove every top layer. That is truly brilliant and greatly appreciated.

They ran a little big. I am 5'2 and 130 ish pounds, muscular frame and found that the legs were a little long on me but I certainly didn't feel constricted wearing them.

I would definitely recommend them and they keep me warm and comfortable on the saddle in the cold. More reflectivity would be nice but a great product.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I used the size chart and ordered an XXL (I'm 5'10", 165 lbs, Chest 36, Waist 32, Hips 43). These things are HUGE on me. I ordered an XL in the same brand, different style and it's still too big. I'm going to try a large now.

Quality is amazing though...

Great Bib

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The reason I bough these was the zippers that make bathrooms stops 3 million times faster. They really are great in that aspect. They also kept me really warm and happy with wool baselayer on chilly fall days.

I like the contest ladies chamois but want a short bib. All the shorts seem to have a different chamois or are underwear. Does Gore make a women's short bib with the contest ladies chamois?

Responded on

Unfortunately...No.

They have only 3 bib/short offerings:
Xenon 2.0 Lady Bib short + (wt. "lady chamois)
Power Lady Bib short + ...same liner
ALP-X 2.0 + (wt. alp-x liner).

They offer 3 shorts with the liner you like:
Element W-Line Lady +shorts
Pixel Lady + shorts (new)
Countdown Lady + shorts.

The Contest Lady chamois is listed, by Gore, for short to medium rides, only.
The Xenon is their top-of-the line. I have them, they're great!

I normally wear a large in Pearl Izumi & LG & Sugoi shorts.....
would a large fit?

Best Answer Responded on

Gore's size chart sites a 'L' to be:
waist...28.7-30"
hips....38.5-39.75
I've found Gore to run small, but I wouldn't say any smaller than L.G.
If your even a bit close to the top end of these measurements, size-up.
Hope this Helps!

These are fantastic. I might buy a 2d pair!

I have curves, and don't fit into men's straight-hip tights. I've scoured the internet for women's bib tights that don't cost a fortune. These are fantastic! They are incredibly comfortable, fit great, the chammy is good enough for government work-- it's not the best one ever, but it's not low quality-- and the back zippers really sold me. No need to undress to pee! At first I was skeptical about the zippers, but I did a 180 once I used them because they are so great. You can feel them on your back against bare skin, so I'd recommend an undershirt to prevent them from being scratchy. With an undershirt, you'll probably feel them some, but they aren't bothersome to me. I ride in these down to 30 degrees on a mountain bike, and am toasty.
