Falling in just below the Phantom jerseys in the Gore Bike Wear line, the Contest SE has some features the standard Contest jersey doesn't have; namely, a full-length zipper with a semi-locking zipper and reflective piping.

The full-length of the zipper makes getting in and out and cooling down easy, while the semi-locking pull keeps the jersey open to the point you want it, and no more. The zipper's underflap keeps your neck and undergarments protected from abrasion, too . Mesh ventilation in the underarms adds to the cooling features on this jersey, allowing air to flow through the fabric.

The Contest SE has a cut like that of the original Women's Contest jersey; a slim, flattering fit made to work with a woman's shape. The close-fitting collar stays true to the traditional design of a jersey. Three rear pockets add ample storage space for nutrition and tools on long rides. The pockets' tapered sides allow easier access to ride essentials, so reaching back for a bar is no longer a test of balance.
