Gore Bike Wear's Alp-X AS Light Jacket is made from Gore's patented WindStopper fabric. This material adheres to Gore's rigorous standards of lightweight, windproof construction. The multilayer fabric design allows high breathability and well regulated moisture transfer away from the skin to the outer layer of the jacket. And, although the Alp-X is made for mountainous touring, you're going to have to ride home at some point, which is why Gore included reflective piping on the sleeves and back, and a reflective logo on the front, back, and collar of the jacket. A full-length zipper underflap eliminates wind sneaking through the zipper, and a zip-port mitigates irritation.

The Alp-X AS Light Jacket has pre-shaped elbows and an ergonomically shaped collar for a natural feel. Gore Bike Wear even gave the Alp-X abrasion-resistant prints on the shoulders to resist abrasion from backpacks.
