It works!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I don't like the look of having mounts permanently stuck to my helmet, so I opt for this. Also, for some activities I just wear a hat so this lets me still GTS (get the shot) without needing mounts.

Holds on tight

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this for a sudden trip to Moab, it hold on tight even when running around, perfect hands free POV shots!

I just got this and it works as described. it has a gel like substance on the inside of the elastic that causes it to hold tight and not move. The clip works very well to attach to backpack straps and collars.

Fit perfectly

Great product. I'm using it frequently since I bought it. I also have a sony one for my sony action camera. The go pro one is so much better.

Is it still there?

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm constantly worried that the GoPro won't be there when I'm skiing down the mountain, BUT the grip on the strap definitely helps because I haven't lost my GoPro yet! I like this better than using the adhesives that they give you because those are one and done and with the strap anyone can use it!

Awesome

This thing is great. I've used it for a number of activities and sometimes it can make the video a bit shaky, but my favorite so far has been biking in the local canyon.

GoPro Head Strap + QuickClip

Wear your GoPro on your head with the Head Strap, or use the QuickClip to attach it to a backwards baseball cap or other 3mm to 10mm thick object.

Dock Jump and Dive

Jumped off the dock the other day and the GoPro Stayed on for the dive. To be sure, we make sure our mask strap is over the head strap for the GoPro. This is shot with a 3+ and no filter (thus the blue green everything)

SCUBA Approved

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We use the head strap for diving. It does a pretty good job of keeping the camera in position, but our neoprene hoods aren't the grippiest head gear out there. Even with the silicone squiggles for added grip, we've had a time or two where it fell off.. So now we're just sure to get our mask strap over top of the head strap. The big thing is that the camera stays pointing in the direction we pointed it and doesn't bobble around while we're swimming.

Cons:

Can slip off

Pros:

Camera Stays in position

Silicone on underside for added grip

Pretty Good grip on neoprene

Secure Head Mount

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Finally got the chance to use this on a few climbs the other day. Was interested to see how secure it would be on my head.

I had this on top of my helmet. Rather than using a sticky mount and attaching to my helmet that way, I opted to just use this strap. I hate those mounts and the fact that you ruin them once you pull them off.

Adjustability:

I mounted the head strap on my head and everything was great, but once I got on the wall it was til to put my brain bucket on, so I mounted the head strap over it.

Stability:

I never felt it rocking all around as I went up, down and side to side.

Overall it's worth it and a great product.
