The camera's slitted rubber handle provides a grippy feel when you're capturing your friends launch off kickers in the terrain park or step to the handrail at the skatepark. This handle attaches to a foldable arm, making it ideal for grabbing POV or follow-cam footage when it's fully extended think pow runs, park lines, or underwater dive imagery. great Go Pro accesory

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great accessory to have with your Go Pro, only think I will say is the small parts to keep it together can easily be misplaced and as far as I am concerned you can't just by the little screws that hold all the joints together.

Great Footage

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is my first selfie stick and I've been very happy with the footage it's taken so far. I bought it for a weekend at Breckenridge and I'm glad I made the investment. I love how versatile it is, how easy it is to customize, and how it doesn't show any pole connecting the GoPro to your hand.

I should point out that while the handle includes an eyelet for a wrist leash, they don't include one with this product.

A needed accessory for Go Pro's

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use my Go Pro to film a lot of climbing. The head mount really doesnt provide the best overall footage, I found that filming single pitch climbs from a distance turn out way better. You can take a time lapse or use the video function, personally I love the Time Lapse and its what makes the tri pod shine. You can set it, get the camera rolling and just let it do its thing until the subject is done climbing, running around with sprinklers, or playing a game of light up boccie ball.

The Selfie Stick is an awesome combo and I like the big handle grip that you can easily grab with gloves on. Plan to use this skiing to film people in front of me and behind me when I am standing. The selfie stick provides a much smoother video and less shake than the helmet mount I previously used.

Go Pro if you are reading this, please make a waterproof gimbal to attach to this selfie stick, you will help take my video's to the next level!

really easy to use, very versatile, well built. If you drop it down a mountain it will be ok, trust me.

Stoked on this Selfie Stick

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have taken this arm boating, 4-wheeling, camping, hiking, etc. and it has not let me down. It is very versatile which allows for many different camera angles and different views. It's very sturdy and durable. Definitely a must have GoPro accessory.

Yeah!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is probably the most versatile and useful of any of the "selfie sticks" out. you can dial in your angle really well, regardless of the activity. It's great to use for skating to hold upside down and get a good upward facing angle. love it!

versatile

Introducing 3-Way Grip | Arm | Tripod

This ultra-versatile mount can be used three main ways: as a camera grip, extension arm or tripod. The folding arm is perfect for POV or follow-cam footage, and makes it easy to capture selfies without the mount appearing in the shot. When detached from the arm, the handle doubles as a lightweight camera grip. Stored inside the handle is a small tripod that can be removed and used on its own, or combined with the handle. Expands to 20" (50.8cm), collapses to 7.5" (19cm).
