Item # GIR002Y

Wooly warmth.

Whether used as a stand-alone layer for cool days, or as a liner when it's biting cold, Giro's Westerly Wool Gloves are up to the task. The Merino wool construction keeps you warm, while silicone grippers on the palm and fingers keep you in touch with your controls. We'd call them the ideal commuter gloves, but they're so much more than that.

The Merino wool blend that comprises the Westerly is not only warm, but it's also highly effective at wicking moisture away from your skin, which keeps you dry. Additionally, since Merino is antimicrobial, you can wear the gloves regularly without having them smell like gym socks. The silicone grippers make slipping a thing of the past. And the styling is rather appealing, if we do say so ourselves. The versatility is just the icing on an already sweet cake.

The Giro Westerly Wool Gloves are available in six sizes, from X-Small to XX-Large, and in the color Black.

Nice Liner Glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I generally love how wool works as a liner or baselayer, and these seem to fit the bill. Just like the description says, they are fine alone on a cool day with a bit of texture and reinforcement on the palm, or they are perfect as a liner under something more substantial. The palm texture also helps them not slide around when used as a liner.

ok gloves, could be better

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I work on a ranch and work colts when it is very cold outside sometimes. I needed a glove that would allow me to still use my fingers. the gloves are pretty functional but I would prefer if they were warmer. true to size.
