Giro Ultralight Aero Shoe Covers $34.95
Protect your expensive Italian leather riding shoes from road grime while you reduce drag to gain valuable seconds on the leaders. The Giro Ultralight Shoe Covers do all this while adding stylish flair to your kit.
Giro used premium Lycra for the cover's upper to present the wind with a smooth, aerodynamic profile. The locking, ergonomically offset zipper is reflective to make you more visible in evening traffic. Giro even gave the Ultralight Aero Shoe Covers a reinforced cleat zone for many seasons of aerodynamic superiority.
The Giro Ultralight Aero Shoe Covers come in three sizes: S, M, and L, and is available in White or Black.

What community has to say
A decent, simple, inexpensive shoe cover
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I just got these and tried them out on a 1 1/2 hr. ride in 55deg weather (not rainy). Initial impressions are favorable. This minimal shoe cover is easy to slip on, keeps the wind out and my feet warmer than without them on. The size medium fits a 42.5 shoe just fine (size 9-ish).
The only con is that I found the zipper to auto-lower itself a bit...this may be a bother. I had to keep "checking" to make sure it was zipped all the way to the top. Most of the time, yes...depending how many times I had to put my foot down. Seems like the zipper can rub/pull on socks and that's what pulls it down some.
This product is good for mild to chilly temps, dry weather to spotty rain. If you get caught in the downpour, your shoes may get wet but at least they may stay clean.

What about sizing?
I wear a 44 road shoe.
I just exchanged a large for a medium. I wear a 44.5 and the fit was too loose around the tip and rear of the shoe and around my ankles.
