Pleased so far

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Took a chance on these and am really liking them so far. The size ran true to fit and I really like the ratcheting system which was easy to use even with full fingered gloves. When comparing them to some old Nike Velcro strapped shoes the power transfer seems better, but don't have any analytics to back that up. I don't know how long these shoes will last as this is the first season with them, but I've been very pleased thus far with these shoes.

Comfy and very solid.

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've owned these for approx. 2 years and I ride 3-4 times a week. I have really put these shoes through hell; snow storms, rain storms, riding in 105 degree heat and they are every bit as comfortable as when I first bought them.

Side note - if you have wide feet you might find these a bit snug.

Best Shoe

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have been through all the brands Sidi,S-Works,Northwave,but Giro still has me coming back, they fit my foot great, feel great. No break in period. I have a hard time finding shoes to work with my feet, one is a quarter size smaller, and the Giro fit like a champ. This is my third pair, not that I've wore them out but more color choices.

Comfortable Shoes? But the Heel...

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I ride a lot, sometimes over 300 miles in a single week. These shoes have been really comfortable (my feet are a bit narrow, as are the shoes). The fit is perfect. The problem is the heel. After about 3 months with the shoes, I shaved the heel off when I missed clipping into the pedal. I took them back and Giro sent me new ones! Awesome! I then shaved the heel off again. The shoe design problem (versus my clipping in problem that happens on really long rides) is the abrupt rise of the heel pad on the sole. If you catch it just right, the heel pads shave off and are not replaceable. You need new shoes. Giro truly was awesome to replace them the first time around, and may even again.. but I am opting to try a different shoe with a more gradual heel pad rise (and some shoes have replaceable heel pads, which is even better).

these are great shoes..they breath very well.. are very comfortable to ride in.. and they also look great!

Definitely a good price compared to other places I've been. Very light shoe, and comfortable for the short/long distance road biking I do. I would recommend this shoe to any person that's looking for a good shoe for road biking.

How do these fit compared to your brannok...

How do these fit compared to your brannok size? True, or should I size up?

What kind of fit do they have in the toe box with that fitting?
