A fresh take on jerseys.

Giro's New Road Ride LT Men's Cycling Jersey is classic and simply designed, which in itself is a huge change from most of the faux-sponsored "performance" jerseys out there. Giro opted to focus on clean lines, breathable fabrics, and comfort when making the Ride LT, and the results speak for themselves.

It's made of 100% polyester, so it wicks moisture quickly away from your skin to keep you cool, and has raglan sleeves that allow uninhibited movement without chafing. A full-length front zip provides plenty of ventilation, and the whole jersey is treated with Polygiene, an antimicrobial agent that prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria.

The Ride LT also sports three traditional elastic rear pockets, but boosts storage capacity with the addition of a small zippered back pocket as well, a perfect stash spot for your phone or wallet.

Nice, trim!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: S

This one is a gift, but I have one too. I have found it to run small. So nice though,

Hi Paul, Looks like you're an employee and roughly my height. Can you recommend a size for someone that's 5'6' with a 40" chest? Based on other comments below, looks like a large may be too long for me.

Nice jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Purchased both medium and large based on previous reviews, figuring I'd return one. I'm 5'11", 190lbs with slightly shorter legs / longer torso - I ended up keeping the medium, it is definitely form-fitting but I found it very comfortable and a good length. The large just didn't fit quite right, too much extra material that hangs in the front and around the armpits, especially in aero position (tri bike).

I typically wear Louis Garneau size M and this is my first Giro jersey. Seems that the size of this jersey runs a bit smaller than my LG road jerseys.

Some Features of a Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Large

After reading different reviews, I went with the Giro sizing chart and got a large jersey (I'm 6'1", 175 with a 40" chest). I think it fits as intended, but I would have returned it for a medium if the color I ordered was still available in that size.

The length of the jersey is too long, with the front being a good 2+ inches beyond what's needed, which leads to bunching and flapping in the front when riding. The cut under the arms and across the chest is far too roomy as well. I was not expecting a race fit jersey, but this is not a relaxed or athletic fit, it's just a poor cut. The fit in the shoulders and arms is okay, but the sleeve length could be a bit longer as they ride up when worn without an undershirt.

On the good side, the fabric is very nice and overall quality is good. The zipper pocket is well placed and both there and on the front the zipper is high quality. The zipper backing on the front add a nice touch of style when slightly unzipped and the overall look is subtle and modern. The low cut at the front of the collar makes for a comfortable fit even when fully zipped. There's much to like that shows Giro had the right idea, but I wish I could fix the cut so it was a jersey I wanted to put on for a long weekend ride instead of something I'll likely only use for shorter rides and commutes.

I would not buy it again and I'm not even sure that going down a size would address the cut issues.

Fantastic jersey, my favorite

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: medium

Took a chance on the fit based on Adam's helpful review. I'm 5'10", 165 pounds with wide shoulders. Fingers crossed it wouldn't be too small......drum roll, please. Perfection! The rear pockets can be loaded with food and an extra large water bottle and there is NO sag in back or pulling/tugging at the collar or shoulders. The no logo look is perfect; can even be worn on group mtb rides and not get made fun of for wearing a "Euro" skintight jersey. And the sleeve length is spot-on. My biceps are larger than the usual biker build yet the sleeves are "just right" with or without armwarmers. Speaking of fit, it's form fitting, but not the equivalent of skinny jean hipster tight. I'm not sure it's what I'd wear when temps get really hot, the poly seems a bit thick compared to my nearly see-through summer weight jerseys. At 65% off it's a screaming deal. I'm too frugal to pay the MSRP that Giro and many others ask. Come on, it's polyester and maybe a small percentage of other fabric marketed as the next wondermaterial. If I rip these on a sagebrush or crash it won't be so painful. Great job, Giro, and thanks BC for offering the best price.

Great look. Runs small.

I originally purchased a Medium - I am Medium in just about everything. However, the M was just too small. It was tight in the shoulders and it was short for my longish torso. I returned and went with a Large. It may be slightly big for me, but length is good and allows room for layers underneath. Love the look as I am not a graphic jersey sort of guy. Nice feel, functionality.

The sizing seems small. A 40 chest is a large??

See my review above. I am usually a 36-38 chest and went with the large after ordering the medium.
