Item # GIR002N

No need to white knuckle.

The Monaco Gloves are cut along Giro’s Super Fit Engineering, which gives them a contoured shape, even before you put them on. This minimizes bunching at the knuckles and the palm, which leads to less pinching when you wrap your fingers around the bars. The Pittards leather palm is similarly cut, and the heel and outside feature a Technogel padding that is just thick enough to alleviate discomfort and numbness. The backs of the Gloves are sewn from breathable four-way stretch mesh, while the thumb is sewn with microfiber to wipe sweat from your brow.

  • Pittards leather palm

Nice feeling gloves

  • Fit: Runs small

We'll see the longevity but on first ride they are uber nice and comfy. However, they run a bit small. I'm typically a Large and I needed an XL.

Giro Monaco Gloves

  • Fit: True to size

I am a big fan of these because of the extensive padding. I expected them to not be very durable, because the microfiber is sewn directly to palm. Impressively they are holding up well, and I have put them through the ringer.

Sizing is pretty normal, I ordered a XL and it fits great. I have gotten quite a bit of stretching in the thumb area though. I purchased the black/white palm which looked great new but as you can see gets a lil' filthy.

She likes them!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Haven't heard much from the lady regarding these but she had no complaints after her 6hr ride the other day!

Nice for a couple of weeks

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are ok gloves. The padding location is a little strange for a road bike. I've had them about three weeks and they are starting to fall apart.

The stitching on my pair is already coming apart at the web/thumb area after only about 4 or 5 rides. They are comfortable but I wouldn't pay full price for them.
