Love these

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I keep coming back to these. After riding a TON last year (3+ rides per week starting in the spring) my gloves are still in good riding shape. Not bulky, breathe and articulate well while still providing protection. Love the color schemes as well, guaranteed to match your kit perfectly.

I can't get enough of these gloves!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I've tried about 10 different brands and makes of gloves and I will always go back to the Giro DND. I like my gloves to be minimal, no additional padding and no Velcro. These slip on and off with ease! I do well over 100 rides in the summer on the MTB and wash these gloves after every ride and they are holding up beautifully. They do run a bit small. I normally wear a size small but the mediums fit perfect in this glove.

I can't get enough of these gloves!

Great gloves, but run small!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Key points that I like about these gloves:
- no velcro strap
- almost no padding (I use these for biking, running, driving, gardening, etc...)
- lots of fun designs!
- the knuckle breaks in the fabric allows the thumb, index and middle finger to bend easier (see photos)

I am pretty much always a size small in gloves, so I bought a small, and they just BARELY fit the first time I wore them. After the first few uses, they stretch, but only a little.

Wish I got 2 pairs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Used these gloves primarily during fall and winter in Boston on my bicycling commute as well as running gloves. I bought it in the, no longer available, pink and blue watercolorish style and love the look of them and have gotten compliments on them multiple times. It fits snugly, yet comfortably around my hand and all my fingers. I didn't find it TOO snug like other customers have mentioned. Love the pull tab, naturally I reach to that spot to pull on gloves anyway so it's nice to be rewarded.

Terms of wear and tear, the grippy designs on the palm side do rub off with wear, but not a deal breaker. Nothing else has shown much issue and I'll continue using these as bike and running gloves for a long time to come.

Awesome gloves but avoid anything white

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I have these in the black and white polka dot print (white palm). Why anyone makes white mtb gloves is beyond me. These got dirty super quick, obviously. But hey! They still look cute on the tops. Washing with bleach only goes so far with the stains too. Fit nice and snug so there is minimal rubbing on my palms. No padding on the palms though which is a bummer. I like a little padding on the palm where the fingers meet the palm... always getting calluses there.

snug fit, stretches out pretty quickly

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: med

Had to try a few sizes to get it right here, the gloves are great for summer though once you get the right size! The sweat wiping material on the glove is my favorite detail! Only complaint would be that I think they wear out quicker than other pairs I've owned.

snug fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

My hands measure 8 in circumference and 7 inches tall. The Large fits, but is still a touch snug. I'm hoping they will loosen up as they get broken in.

otherwise they are comfortable and contour nicely to the hands. The fingers seem to have a particularly smart tailoring to them where the leather is curved in at the inside bends in the fingers (reduces the bulk of the leather when bending fingers/gripping).

And you gotta love the sweat rag fabric on the thumb. That is KEY for summer riding!

Update: after using for a few months, I have one update to mention... these are not super compatible with touch screens. I usually have to take them off. But otherwise, the polka dots trump that small issue, and I still love them.

Update 2: I love them so much that I bought a second pair when one of the first disappeared. Still loving them.

Cute, functional gloves

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These gloves have a sleek, contoured fit perfect for mountain biking. The palm is unpadded but seam-free and comfortable on the handlebar even for long rides. Loved them so much this is my second pair.

Falling apart

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves are completely falling apart after only a few uses. They're coming apart at the seams on the right hand in several places. Unfortunately I can't return them because of the 30-day return policy that CC has even though it took a week for me to receive these defective gloves. At the rate they're falling apart, I expect them to be totally disintegrated in about 2 weeks. Would never ever buy these again.

Perfect for the summer

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are perfect if you are looking for a light summer weight glove. These gloves are inexpensive, comfy, lightweight, and have a nice grip, but they do not have any padding so you may need to look elsewhere if you are in need of palm pads. I have not had a chance to test out the durability of the gloves for long, but I suspect that they will hold up well with use. Although it did not matter to me, one downside of the glove is the lighter fabrics do get dirty quickly and will not clean up very well. This was not a deal breaker for me, but may be for someone else.

Very happy with these gloves!

Bought the white and green polka dot gloves for myself, and I am very happy with my purchase. I went on a 14 mile mountain bike ride in Tahoe the next day, and these gloves did the job. Not too hot or bulky. Lightweight and breathable material. My hands didn't get too sweaty. I usually wear small in gloves, so that's the size I ordered. The fit was true to size, maybe on the snug side (which I prefer with mtb gloves.) Would recommend. Decent price for the product.

Should I get a small or med? The size...

Should I get a small or med? The size small is on the snug side and the medium slightly big when I tried them on earlier this month. I know it's better to err on the side of smaller is better but I'm concerned that if my fingers swell a little, will the small be too tight? Or will these stretch out and "break in" after a while?

    Best Answer

Depending on how much you use them, they are very likely to stretch to some degree. The clarino (synthetic leather) and the elastic in the the back of the glove will give some once they warm up and are stretched a few times, just like a new pair of shoes.

    LA DND

These gloves do a great job of protecting your hands, while still being breathable and wicking moisture. I wanted something that wasn't at all bulky, and these are perfect. There are super stretchy parts at your wrist, and on a few of the knuckles so your hands can move freely.

      Good summer gloves

Got these for my wife and she uses em every day for commuting and weekends for mountain biking. They fit true to size and they work great for warm spring and summer conditions.
