Made to support your commitment to pedaling.

Giordana has designed its Tri-Season Winter Gloves to do just what the name implies: be suitable for use in three seasons out of the year. Intentionally versatile, this Giordana model has been made to be effective, though not overwhelming, in a variety of temperature conditions. The back of the hand has the same attention to wind protection as their Nordic Gloves, but it has been given an Amara faux leather palm to keep them even more breathable. Amara leather is noted also for its durability and longevity, which means that these gloves will be able to take a serious beating, whether you are continually wiping you tires for glass on your in-town rides, or you find yourself hitting the pavement after sliding out on some ice: these palms will withstand the wear and tear.

To keep them comfortable, gel padding has been included at the most important pressure points, so if you take these on your Spring trip to ride some of the Tour of Flanders roads, they'll deflect some of that incessant vibration jarring you to death, especially your hands. Silicone grippers will keep your fingers’ dexterity at an acceptable level. Velcro fasteners at the wrist will hold these gloves snugly in place and close off the wrists as a cold weather entry point. Reflective elements have been included to keep you visible during the times of low level lighting.

The Giordana Tri-Season Winter Gloves are available in Black and come in sizes Small through X-Large.

Sized Smaller Than Advertised

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I measured the circumference of my hand, and at its most generous/liberal, the measurement came up at 8.75". Bought the large, which is supposed to fit 9-9.5" circumference. Way too small - had to return them. Go up a full size if you buy these.

expensive brand - bad quality

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got the gloves thru spring sale. I used them 4-5 times due the 2013 fall (I live in SoCal) and the gloves start to fell apart. The stiches on the bottom of the gloves coming out. After I checked the label I discovered ? made in China and not in Italy as expected. Agree with jimp674304. Sorry it is too late to send back. Don't buy it.

great wind deflection

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

as the other poster implies, the stitching issue became apparent quickly. Luckily, though, the issue on mine was down at the bottom of the cuff, so it's not something that really affects my usage. Been using for a year now and it hasn't really gotten worse.

I don't have experience with other gloves of this ilk, so take this with a grain of salt, but i've been really happy with these...seems to work well for temps from mid 20s to high 50s, which is an impressive range (i hate hot hands, perhaps even more than cold hands). beware though, on nights down in the teens my hands have been FREEZING after a couple miles, had to start breaking out the ski gloves. other complaint is that theres a protruding seam on the inside of the glove that runs up the base of my thumb that becomes a little uncomfortable on rides over 20-30 mins...whenever i take the gloves off you can see the print in the skin where the seam is. oh, finally, i have XLs and they are (perfectly) snug on me...I'm 6ft average weight and plain L in almost everything.

Quality Control

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wore these gloves once and the stitching was coming undone in 2 places. The gloves are great but the quality control leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of the jerseys and bibs they make in their own factory in Italy has been awesome but these gloves they sell that are made in China are not up to Giordana standards.

Agree. Extreemly poor quality.

Nice gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I live in Virginia, where we have a true four-season climate - these gloves seem like they will live up to their tri-season name. Good buy!

Unanswered Question

Is it at all possible to get these gloves...

Is it at all possible to get these gloves in a XS? I'm having a terrible time finding padded fall-winter gloves that fit my small hands. These look and feel excellent, except even the small size is still too large!

Looking for a set of gloves that are warm and waterproof...Northwest region...cold and wet.

Any thing with a Goretex fabric. Try looking into Gore's offerings. Check out their website. The ALP-X, specifically the ALP-X "cold-wet" line up they have; you'll see the whole available and suggested outfit, from the base layers, to jacket, & of course, gloves; I have most of this line up (for women, of course) and can tell you it's pretty good, even up here in the Great Lakes area, in all but the coldest (30's or below) days; at that point, you'll really have to beef it up, gear-wise. Their ALP-X over pants are great, too, worn over thermal Windstopper tights. Note: the ALP-X jacket is NOT insulated, it's just a great water proof/windproof shell...wear it over a warmer jacket on nasty, cold & wet rides.
For even more close up pics, look at Competitivecyclist.com (affiliated wt. B.C.).
Look into *Gore's site: www.goreapparel.com. You can research there, and still purchase here!
Hope this helps for your up-coming winter rides!
