Step up your game.

Zip into the Giordana Men's Trade FormaRed Carbon Jersey when you're serious about high-performance fit and function. Its tight, race-specific fit enhances aero efficiency on high-cadence rides.

Revamped for its third iteration, the jersey's Asteria fabric is made of highly breathable polyester microfiber that's lightly compressive for added support and stabilization. Its Host Carbon back panel alleviates uncomfortable pressure points, bolstering the side and shoulder panels from bunching when you're dropped over the bars. Laser cut sleeve hems lie flat against your skin for a pleasantly smooth, seamless feel. Moreover, you'll appreciate the 3/4-wrap collar, which stays out of the way for an irritation-free fit. Three open cargo pockets grace the jersey's backside for ample storage of extra layers and energy gels, while a fourth zippered pocket easily accommodates small valuables. Additionally, its reflective accents boost visibility in low-light conditions.

  • Asteria fabric (breathable polyester microfiber)
  • Host Carbon panel at backside of jersey
  • Three open cargo pockets at rear
  • Zippered pocket
  • Laser cut sleeve hems
  • 3/4-wrap collar

Great race fit aero jersey with flair

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

If it looks stylish, feels gossamer, and works well, as this jersey does, you know there's something somewhere Giordana didn't nail. This jersey is terrific and you should consider it strongly for your warm weather collection. There are many things to like which is why I gave it 4 stars. If I had to go out the door with my sharpest short sleeve jersey it would be this one. Italian tailoring fits snug and can be flattering on trimmer body types.

But there are a few issues. If you have any biceps at all, you will struggle getting the jersey off after your ride. The arms are very small even on my skeletal arms. If you lift and build your arms, you will need XL just for that.

The fit is race fit. As tight as Castelli and moreso. Unless you are quite trim, expect to size up.

The fabrics are a fascinating assortment of aero, cooling, and just plain exotic feeling materials. Many panels are a bit like snakeskin. Air just slides off. These panels on me become sweat soaked rapidly. I suspect that one price of the aero panels is a jersey that is warmer than it looks.

The main zipper has a clever tab to wrap over it. It is a flyweight delicate zipper that must be used w care. Mine is already tempermental after only a month or so.

So mind the zipper. Help yourself to one of these pro styling jerseys and enjoy slipping through the wind too.

highest quality

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: large

I’d been admiring this jersey online for several months and when it came up on sale for $80 I jumped on it. I’m glad I did because it truly is a fantastic jersey. The material is super soft and lightweight. It’s perfect for very hot weather and it really wicks the sweat away. The zipper is top-notch and the sleeves are cut slightly longer which I love. Also, the sleeves are finished off with a very nice pro-style gripper. The gripper at the bottom is contoured and nice too. The collar is super-soft and comes up just a tiny bit. There’s also a small bonus pocket that zips. The fit of this jersey is 100% pro. I bought a medium and a large intent on returning one of them. It was a tough decision. I normally wear a medium except in my Castelli Aero Race jersey which is a large. I went with the large in this jersey too. The medium fit okay but it felt just a little too tight in the chest and arms. The downside of the large is there is some bunching in the chest when on-bike. A guy with a bigger or more muscular chest probably wouldn’t have this problem. I’m 5’9” and 152 lbs. I was expecting the red color to be brighter but it’s more of rusty-red instead. I prefer bright red but the muted red is cool too so no biggie. If you can get this jersey for $100 or less buy it now.

So Far So Great!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I've used this jersey once so far, but great first impression! I'm 6'0" 180 pounds with broad shoulders so I ordered an XL. It is a tight fit, but that is exactly what I wanted. I only felt a little wind buffeting when I'd be exhaling on a downhill. The sleeves are very comfortable. I bought this in the black and blue, so I didn't experience any issues with it being see through. I intended to wear my Castelli mesh base layer under the jersey because that's just what I'm used to. However, with the tight fit of the jersey, I went without the Castelli and I'm glad I did. This Giordana jersey is lightweight and does a great job wicking sweat, even when climbing at 7mph in 90 degree heat. Very happy with this purchase. My only wish is that the jersey would be a centimeter longer, especially in the back.

Great Jersey

Great fitting jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

This is a great jersey. I like the fit- 5'11 165- the large has a snug race cut. The pockets don't sag when filled up, and the fit and finish is of high quality. Highly recommended.

Wanted to Love it But Too Thin

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I got this jersey in white/red for summer rides. The fit is perfect, nice race fit. I typically wear L in US brands and the XL fit me perfectly. I returned it before using it because the material is just too thin and see through. My gripes with this are lack of sun protection, there is no claimed built in sun protection, I'd have to lather my whole torso up before riding in the summer, blah. Second, I wear bib shorts and the straps are completely visible, as is the back of my shorts. Lots of nip action too, even with bib shorts. The only way you could pull this off without looking like a goof is bib shorts with white bibs or just regular shorts. Its too bad the jersey is so thin, it looks great and has a nice cut. Oh well.

Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I have learned to expect a skin-suit-like fit from the true European brands, and this jersey certainly meets that criterion. Lightweight and excellent quality. I am 6'1'' and around 180-185lbs and the XL fit me well and was not too long in the torso, as is true with many other XLs I have owned. I especially like the longer sleeves of Giordana that help the jersey stay in place when on the rivet in the drops. So if you've the privilege to wear race-fit stuff, you will likely enjoy this jersey.

Superb quality and fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: double x

The materials and workmanship here are absolutely stunning. Feels like there is nothing on you at all. If you are familiar with the FRC bibs, the leg cuff material used is used on this jersey at the sleeve cuffs and the waist. No seams or stitching, just laser cut. These are very very thin jerseys and very form fitting, so keep that in mind, but I am not sure you can find a more technical or well made jersey. Assos can not even begin to compare with this garment. Different league all together. Does run very small for small Italian guys. I sized up two sizes and fits perfectly. Not a fold, not a bunch, not a droop anywhere. Also, pockets are re-enforced somehow and stay high and tight no matter how much stuff is loaded.

Smaller and thinner than expected

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I ordered a large even though I usually wear a medium. Still too tight! Also, the material is almost see through. The tight fit and seeing through the material is NOT a good look for me.
