Icy winds to Arctic blasts.

Designed for the serious winter cyclist, the Giordana SottoZero Neoprene Shoe Cover insulates your feet from icy Arctic blasts and frigid gusts with its neoprene construction. Its rear zippered opening facilitates easy on and off, while sealing tightly to keep out cold air and outside moisture. How to Measure:
Use your shoe size to find your sock size.
Measure the circumference of your hand around the widest part of the palm not including the thumb, just below the base of the fingers. Giordana gloves are race style, if you have "fat" hands you may want to size up.

Keeps my feet warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Neoprene covers does the job of keeping my feet warm. I wear SIDI 41.5 size shoes

Weak seams!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I had such high hopes for these booties! Out of the package, they appear great but as soon as I attempted to pull them over my shoes, the seam down the middle separated. Backcountry was great and sent out another pair but sure enough, the same thing happened again. Keep looking!

Good quality - uncomfortable zipper

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I originally bought some Sugoi Aero shoe covers just to keep the wind chill off, but decided they were not durable enough. I was searching for a heavier material like soft shell and found these for a good sale price. They are good quality and overall well built.
HOWEVER - the zipper has caused sever rubbing and every time that I have used them (maybe 4) I have come out with the skin blistered and rubbed on the back of my ankle on the achilles. It is too late to return so I will hold on to them, but if I were to try a similar product, I would look at a shoe cover that does not zip along the rear of your ankle.

good price to warmth ratio

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Kept me toes warm for rides starting at 30 degrees (despite what the Garmin said), without any real added bulk. Can get about two hours in cold weather before toes get nippy. Read the complaints here about the zippers failing/breaking. I think some care in putting these on will help them last, like pinching the zipper together as you pull up. I put a couple dozen+/- rides on them over the past two NY winters without trouble. I like the sole design. Covers the whole sole underneath except for the cleat and heal pad. One thing I didn’t like about the Gore Thermo (which I returned) is that it’s only an elastic strap so if it isn’t tight around the sole, there’s a lot of space for cold air to come through. If you’re on the higher side of Gores sizing and get cold feet, then I would expect the fit to be better and would gladly pay the extra $40-$50 for what I think would be a warmer cover (but can’t confirm). But for the $30 sale price I paid for these, I am very happy with the purchase.

Good review. And, yes, pinch the zipper teeth together when zipping up (to prevent zipper failure). True for any booties.

Good down to the 30's

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Live in Central Florida and have worn them in the early AM hours down to 28 degrees with just wool socks and Louis Garneau winter shoe inserts. Feet were good for about an hour and 15 minutes. Don't really expect more than that. Have not worn them in the rain yet, but again, living in Florida, no cycling gear can be considered waterproof. Consider these a great addition to the winter gear. The extra large will cover size 47 Louis Garneau LS100's.
