Now the only question that remains is: Why were you trying to wear your twelve-year old’s jeans?

Nothin’ says lovin’ like biker tight ovens. The Giordana Silverline Windfront Cycling Tight heats your humps in frigid weather. A brushed inner surface insulates and wicks away wetness, and the supportive stretch material compresses and massages your muscles, thus enhancing circulation and efficiency and decreasing fatigue. Windproof thigh panels put gales in their place and zippered ankles make it so getting in and out of this Giordana tight isn’t harder than sqeezing into your twelve-year old’s skinny jeans.

Made in China? I thought Giordana emphasizes their products are made in Italy. Would you please clarify the country of origin?

I wore these for the first time yesterday for a metric century. The temperature was in the forty's and there was a brisk wind. They were extremely comfortable and protected well from the cold. They were washed last night and air dried indoors in less than 20 hours.

Now the down side. Looking at them today, there is a 1 inch area worn through on the upper inner thigh. I never noticed any problem during the ride. Don't know if this was a defective area or the fabric is not very wear resistant.

would you were this as a base layer under tights?

Responded on

NO. These are your tights. This is designed as an outer layer with the wind-proof front panels to help keep the elements out as you ride. It has no chamois, so I would wear my regular bibs underneath it.

Responded on

Faris is right on. I would like to add that no chamois is a good choice for tights. Not only can you take them off if you get hot on a epic but they work awesome for cross sking and under your pants in cold-weather alpine sking.

Warm, wind resistant

The first two rides were long ones, at about 42 degrees, with a winds in the 10 to 15 range. No worries. They feel good too. They are bit on the slick side on the saddle.
